Steakhouse from Statesboro Opening in Savannah
Bull & Barrel Steakhouse will open in Savannah in fall 2026.
SAVANNAH, GA — Bull & Barrel Steakhouse, known for its scratch-made menu and polished full-service experience in Statesboro, is expanding to Savannah. Partners Jim Peery, John Adam, and Jason Franklin told Business Debut the restaurant will open at 119 E 37th St, Savannah, GA 31401 in fall 2026.
What to Expect
The Savannah restaurant will seat about 175 guests and feature a full-service bar in a historic building originally constructed in 1898. Peery said the partners were drawn to the site’s restored character and downtown setting.
Guests can expect the same hospitality and made-from-scratch focus that define the Statesboro location. The restaurant will serve dinner nightly and weekend brunch.
“We take great pride in making everything from scratch,” Adam told Business Debut. “From our biscuits to cinnamon rolls, every item is prepared in-house using the best ingredients we can source.”
Menu and Vision
The menu will center on premium steaks, alongside seafood and Southern specialties such as blackened grouper with crawfish cream sauce and Savannah red rice.
Other favorites include smoked pork belly, white-chocolate bread pudding, and seasonal house-made semifreddo. “We’re excited to bring the core of what we do in Statesboro to Savannah and add some new coastal seafood options,” Peery said. Partner and sommelier John Adam noted that a curated wine list will complement the menu.
Opening Timeline
The team is targeting a fall 2026 opening following renovations to the historic building. Phase one will include the main dining room and bar, with potential outdoor seating planned for a later phase.
