Outside BBQ Now Open in St. Pete Beach

ST. PETE BEACH, FL — Jevonta “Tay” Godwin, owner of the Tampa-based Outside BBQ, has opened his newest location in St. Pete Beach. The new full-service restaurant is now open at 6305 Gulf Blvd, St. Pete Beach, FL 33706.

What to Expect

Godwin told Business Debut that the new restaurant features in-house dining, takeout, and delivery options, including potential delivery service to nearby beach residents and visitors. “We’re going to have bartenders, servers, in-house dining, takeout, and delivery service,” he said. “We’re even working on a plan to deliver to the beach within a mile radius of the restaurant.”

Menu and Vision

The St. Pete Beach restaurant will carry the popular dishes that Outside BBQ is known for while expanding the menu to include new appetizers and desserts.

The takeout location in Tampa at 1613 E Dr Martin Luther King Jr Blvd, Tampa, FL 33610 will remain open, as well as the food truck.

History

The brand started as a food truck in 2021. In April 2024, they opened their takeout storefront in Tampa, which grew to be a popular spot for barbecue. This will be their third location.
