HALLANDALE BEACH, FL - Oakberry is now open in Atlantic Village at 801 N Federal Hwy, Suite 108, Hallandale Beach, FL 33009, with franchisee Ademar Guedin and his wife, Christiane Guedin, bringing the global açaí brand to the area. The location began a soft opening on February 15 and held its grand opening event on March 21, Guedin told Business Debut. He added that this marks the couple’s first Oakberry location, with a second spot already in the works and expected to open in the coming months as part of their planned expansion.

What to Expect

Oakberry operates as a fast, health-focused concept centered on customizable açaí bowls and smoothies. Guests can expect a streamlined experience with orders prepared in front of them using fresh ingredients and a wide range of toppings, from fruits and granola to protein-focused add-ons.

The space is approximately 750 square feet with limited indoor and outdoor seating, designed for quick service. The brand emphasizes simple operations without traditional kitchen equipment, allowing for a focused menu and efficient service, Guedin told Business Debut.

The menu features açaí bowls with unlimited toppings along with smoothies, juices, and functional beverages focused on nutrition and wellness. Guedin said the product quality and health benefits were key reasons he invested in the brand.

“As a Brazilian myself, I know the product for probably my whole life,” Guedin told Business Debut. “I was looking for something that would be a good product that I would be proud of serving.”

He added that the simplicity of the operation and strong brand positioning also played a role in the decision, noting that the concept allows teams to focus on customer service and consistency.

Community Focus

Guedin emphasized that community engagement is a priority for the business. He and his team are actively connecting with nearby schools, gyms, and fitness centers to introduce the concept and educate customers on healthier food options.

“We are really into the community,” Guedin told Business Debut, noting ongoing outreach efforts in the surrounding area.

Opening Timeline

This Hallandale Beach location is already open and operating. Guedin shared that a second Oakberry location is expected to open in the coming months as part of continued expansion.
