New York-Style Halal Spot Opening in Fayetteville, NC

Blazin Halal Food already has a food truck in the area; now they're going brick and mortar.

FAYETTEVILLE, NC — Blazin Halal Food is planning a new Fayetteville restaurant in the former Carter Bank and Trust building at 697 Country Club Dr, Fayetteville, NC 28301. Partner Ali T. Abdo told Business Debut the team is targeting an opening in about six months.

What to Expect

The upcoming Country Club Drive location is planned as a brick-and-mortar restaurant with drive-thru service, Abdo told Business Debut.

Blazin Halal Food also operates a Fayetteville food truck at 1978 Skibo Rd, Fayetteville, NC 28314. Abdo said the brand has an additional location open in Wichita, Kansas.

Blazin Halal Food is built around New York-style halal favorites, Abdo told Business Debut. The menu is expected to include items such as chopped cheese, chicken over rice and lamb over rice, along with other halal street-food staples.

Abdo said the goal is to bring a fast, familiar format to Fayetteville with a menu that’s easy to order for lunch or dinner.

Opening Timeline

Abdo told Business Debut the team is aiming to open the Country Club Drive restaurant in about six months. A specific opening date is to be announced.
