New Mediterranean Restaurant Bowlish Opening Soon in Tampa
Bowlish is launching this October with Mediterranean bowls, wraps, and fresh juices.

TAMPA, FL – Bowlish, a new Mediterranean-inspired fast-casual restaurant, is preparing to open its doors soon at 10420 N Dale Mabry Hwy, Tampa, FL 33618. Owner Hedi Jlassi told Business Debut that the restaurant will open the weekend of October 3, bringing fresh bowls, wraps, and healthy Mediterranean flavors to the Carrollwood area.
The restaurant will seat about 40 people indoors and an additional 10 outside. All dishes will be available for dine-in or to-go, with nothing fried, only grilled, oven-baked, or air-fried healthy options.
Bowlish will operate daily from 10 a.m. – 10 p.m. Within a couple of weeks, Jlassi plans to expand service to include breakfast, with bowls designed around wholesome breakfast choices, starting at 7 a.m.
The menu at Bowlish is designed around customization. Guests can choose a base of rice, brown rice, quinoa, or bulgur and pair it with proteins such as chicken shawarma, spicy chicken, beef, kebab, salmon, shrimp, falafel, and more. A wide selection of sides will be available, including tabbouleh, hummus, baba ghanoush, tzatziki, potato hara, and Greek or Caesar salad.
There will also be two daily soups (lentil and vegetable with chicken), plus wraps made with regular or whole-wheat tortillas. For drinks, Bowlish will offer six freshly made juices, Moroccan mint tea, milkshakes, and a fresh juice bar where customers can watch their beverages being prepared from fruits and vegetables on the spot. Desserts such as baklava cheesecake, chocolate cheesecake, and pistachio pudding will round out the offerings.
“Customers can choose their base, their protein, their vegetable, and we have a lot of variety of sauce,” Jlassi explained.
Jlassi, who also runs the five-year-old Garden Mediterranean Grill in Lutz, has opened Bowlish as his second restaurant. With Bowlish, Jlassi is branching out into a brand-new idea that draws inspiration from restaurants like Fresh Kitchen and Cava. Here, patrons can create their own meals using meats, bases, and sides that they can customize.
According to Jlassi, Bowlish aims to provide the neighborhood with quick, easy, and Halal-friendly Mediterranean dishes. He wants to duplicate the 4.7-star rating that his first restaurant in Lutz now has with this new endeavor.
Follow Bowlish on Facebook for updates and opening announcements, and try their fresh bowls and wraps once doors open.
