New in Pompano Beach: Vicky Bakery Coming Soon

POMPANO BEACH, FL — Franchisee Yamile Hernandez is preparing to open a new Vicky Bakery at 1154 N Federal Hwy, Pompano Beach, FL 33062, targeting late November, Hernandez told Business Debut in a phone interview.

What to Expect

The Pompano Beach Vicky Bakery will span 1,630 square feet, with indoor seating and takeout.

Guests can expect traditional Cuban pastries, breads, and desserts, along with all-day breakfast and Cuban sandwiches, Hernandez told Business Debut. The menu will also include bowls and catering.

Hernandez said ham croquetas are a top-selling item.

Coffee will be a focus. “We're known for the Cuban coffee, the iced coffee,” Hernandez said.

Ownership Background

This store will be Hernandez’s second Vicky Bakery location. She has operated the Boca Raton shop since 2023.

Hernandez grew up in Miami-Dade county and frequented Vicky Bakery until she moved further north. “It’s something that I was missing up here. I used to drive for it,” she said.

Opening Timeline

Hernandez is targeting an opening by the end of November.
