New in Largo: Ninja Ramen Soft Opens
This will be one of several locations to open.
LARGO, FL — Ninja Ramen has begun a soft opening at its first Florida location at 11180 66Th St Largo, FL 33773, with a grand opening targeted before the end of the month.
Owner David Chen described Ninja Ramen as a Japanese quick-service restaurant with drive-thru service and a compact menu.
“This is the very first quick service Japanese restaurant in the country,” Chen told Business Debut. He said the concept focuses on speed and efficiency for dine-in, takeout, and drive-thru guests.
Menu and Vision
Ninja Ramen features about 15 items that Chen said are drawn from popular dishes across Japan, Taiwan, Hong Kong, and China. He cited sliced beef over rice in a savory sauce, Japanese curry chicken, teriyaki chicken, Kobe beef, braised pork over rice, and Sichuan-style spicy noodles.
“We have roughly about 15 items on the menu board right now, but every single one of them is like the top seller on the other side of the planet,” Chen told Business Debut. He said the team has also developed items such as mango salsa pork chop and pineapple chicken teriyaki.
Chen said he started working in restaurants at age 15 and later owned 37 franchise restaurants in New York, including IHOP, KFC, Dunkin' Donuts, Baskin-Robbins, Nathan's Famous, Subway, and Sizzler units.
Chen said he moved from New York to Florida about six years ago and sees significant demand for Asian restaurant concepts in the state.

Opening Timeline
The Largo location is in soft opening while exterior work continues.
He is targeting a formal grand opening before the end of the current month. Ninja Ramen plans to open four more Florida locations and then expand from there rapidly. He said planned markets include Bradenton, Fort Myers, Orlando’s International Drive, and the University Town Center area of Sarasota, with specific site details still to be announced.
