New in Holly Springs: Limra Mediterranean Restaurant & Cafe Opening Soon
The new restaurant will offer a wide menu of Mediterranean cuisine in the coming month or so.
HOLLY SPRINGS, NC — Limra Mediterranean Restaurant & Cafe is preparing to open at 3109 Mcchesney Hill Loop, Holly Springs, NC 27539, bringing a self-service Mediterranean concept with buffet and bistro options, owner Can Engin told Business Debut in a phone interview. Engin owns the business with his wife, Elif Engin, who leads the pastry program.
The couple started Limra in a food truck years ago and is now moving into a brick and mortar location.
What to Expect
Engin described Limra as an upscale quick-service restaurant with a strong self-service model. Guests will see cold and hot buffet lines, a soup corner, dessert displays and self-order kiosks near the entrance. Orders will be picked up at a counter after guests receive a text message or check an order display screen.
The dining room will support guests who choose to build plates from the buffet or order from a separate bistro menu at kiosks or a cashier station. Engin said the couple will also use the space as a base for a broad catering operation for events such as weddings and large organizations.
Menu and Vision
The menu will center on Mediterranean dishes with Turkish, Italian and Greek influences. The buffet will feature salads, hot entrees and sides sold by weight at a posted per-pound price. A soup station will offer lentil soup daily and a second rotating soup with three cup sizes at different prices.
The bistro menu will highlight beef and lamb doner, chicken doner, tantuni, falafel and a hummus bowl with greens, rice, pickled vegetables and a choice of protein and sauces. He also plans sandwiches with ingredients such as arugula and roasted tomatoes and a lineup of wraps, including a build-your-own option where guests choose a protein and sauce.
Elif Engin will oversee a pastry case with baklava, pistachio baklava, chocolate baklava and other traditional pastries. The couple is developing a line of branded cup desserts such as banana pudding, tiramisu and lotus-flavored options.
The beverage program will feature Turkish coffee served in porcelain cups, Turkish tea, herbal teas and hot beverages with free refills during a visit, Engin told Business Debut. He said the menu will include some gluten-free and vegan options.
On weekends, Limra plans a brunch buffet focused on Turkish and broader Mediterranean breakfast items. Offerings may include dishes like eggs with vegetables, hash brown potatoes, sausages and salami alongside traditional breakfast plates.

Engin said the team is targeting an opening in the next month. A specific opening date is to be announced.
