New in Boca Raton: 2nd Street Bagels, Bites and Brews Coming Soon

This is coming from the same owners behind 2nd Street Bagels and Deli.

BOCA RATON, FL – 2nd Street Bagels Bites and Brews, a second location for the 2nd Street brand, is planned for 5800 N Federal Hwy, #1, Boca Raton, FL 33487, co-owner Cara Harpest told Business Debut.

Harpest owns the business with her twin sister, Christie Harpest, and brother-in-law, Brandon Dreichler. The trio also operates the original 2nd Street Bagels and Deli location, which is also in Boca Raton.

“We started our first location with a very small amount of square footage that we really managed to do a lot of volume in,” Harpest told Business Debut. She said the new Boca Raton space offers significantly more room.

What to Expect

She described the goal for the new space as a communal gathering spot. “I’m hoping to make it a go to place for people to gather where we can provide the great quality food and service that we have aways strived to provide,” Harpest said.

The menu will build on the existing deli and bagel offerings. The brand is known for breakfast sandwiches, including pork roll eggs and cheese bacon, corned beef hash and egg sandwiches and your classic bacon, egg and cheese on fresh bagels, which are made from scratch every morning.

The new Boca Raton location will expand its dessert selection and lean more into brunch.

“I love connecting with our customers and think it will be lively destination to host fun brunch events for the community,” Harpest said.

Planned brunch items include peanut butter and jelly challah French toast and Bananas Foster pancakes, along with other weekend brunch specials and the classics on their regular menu that the community knows and loves.

Harpest is applying for a beer and wine license for the new shop. Once that is finalized, she plans offerings such as bottomless mimosas and bellinis as part of the brunch program along with beer and wine throughout the week as well.
