New I-75 Stop Roadhouse Chicken Co. is Opening in Lake City on June 17
The restaurant will serve fried chicken and some dishes from the owner's native Uzbekistan.
LAKE CITY, FL — Roadhouse Chicken Co. plans a soft opening June 17 at 4 p.m. at 14197 US-441, Lake City, FL 32024, owner Alex Isametdinov told Business Debut in a phone interview.
The restaurant sits in the same building as the TA truck stop off Interstate 75, Isametdinov shared with Business Debut.
What to Expect
Isametdinov said he considered bringing in a national chicken franchise before choosing to launch his own concept. He told Business Debut he invested in pressure-fryer equipment for the chicken program.
“The concept is chicken and I do have full bar, you know, with the wine, beer, liquor and all that stuff,” Isametdinov told Business Debut. Isametdinov, who is from Uzbekistan, said he plans to add traditional Uzbek dishes.

He mentioned pilaf, shashlik, and chicken tabaka as examples of items he wants to feature, alongside the fried chicken menu. He said the space will include pool tables and a jukebox to create a relaxing place for people to stop and have a meal.
The business aims to serve truck drivers, interstate travelers, and local residents who visit the truck stop complex, Isametdinov shared.
In addition to Roadhouse Chicken Co., Isametdinov will open Sbarro pizza in the same building a few months.
