SAVANNAH, GA — Elsewhere, a new fusion restaurant and nightlife concept, is planned for 18 E Bay St., Savannah, GA 31401 with a target opening in late 2026, owner Jay Trikha told Business Debut. Trikha said the project is in the construction phase, with key materials being sourced overseas, including marble and stone from Europe and the Middle East.

What to Expect

Trikha describes Elsewhere as an “ultra luxury lounge” designed for both daytime and nighttime service, blending full-service dining with a late-night atmosphere, he told Business Debut.

The concept will span about 8,000 square feet and is designed as three distinct rooms, each with a different level of access and experience.

  • Room 1: Public-facing entrance room. This is the “anyone can walk in from the street” space, and Trikha said it’s the smallest of the three at about a 40-person capacity. He expects this room to be consistently open.
  • Room 2: A back lounge with a semi-speakeasy feel. Trikha described this as accessible if “you know, and you’ve heard about it,” with no true gatekeeping.
  • Room 3: Membership-only room. This area is restricted to members. Trikha said this is where most of the high-end finishes (including stones and marble) are planned. He also noted this room overlooks the Savannah River.

Elsewhere is centered on South European and Mediterranean flavors, presented in a tapas-style, fusion format, Trikha told Business Debut. He said the broader inspiration comes from travel experiences and nightlife culture in places including Dubai, Nice, Ibiza, Guadalajara and Mexico City.

Trikha added that the restaurant plan includes a core chef for regular service, along with rotating pop-up chef events that bring curated menus and special experiences.

Opening Timeline

Elsewhere is targeting a late 2026 opening, Trikha told Business Debut. He said the timeline is tied to the ongoing buildout and inbound overseas shipments for finishes and materials.

Hours

Trikha said Elsewhere plans to operate Wednesday through Sunday with lunch, dinner and late-night hours.
