New Beignets and Coffee Concept Opening in Boca Raton

Beignets and Brew is expanding its brand presence to Boca Raton this Spring.

BOCA RATON, FL — Beignets and Brew is targeting an April 1 opening at 5050 Champion Blvd Ste D8, Boca Raton, FL 33496, located inside the Polo Shoppes adjacent to Publix. Owner Joe Wasch told Business Debut the café will bring New Orleans-style beignets and specialty coffee to the area.

Wasch, a franchise attorney with 30 years of experience representing franchise brands and franchisees, said this marks his first franchise ownership venture. He currently represents Beignets and Brew as legal counsel and decided to invest personally in the brand.

What to Expect

Beignets and Brew is a quick-casual café centered around French-style, New Orleans-inspired beignets. Guests can order four-piece traditional beignets topped with powdered sugar, 12-count boxes, or 24 bite-sized pieces. The brand is also known for offering specialty beignets.

Dipping sauces include buttercream, blueberry, and chocolate. The menu also features two sundaes: a Banana Foster’s and an Old Fashioned Sundae made with three traditional beignets topped with vanilla ice cream, hot fudge, whipped cream, and rainbow sprinkles.

Beyond beignets, the café will serve breakfast croissants, a hot butter chicken lunch croissant, and chicken and beignets.

Coffee offerings include drip coffee, Americano, café au lait, cappuccino, cold brew, citrus brew, latte, and macchiato. Specialty drinks include a Biscoff Cookie Butter Latte and Nutella Latte. The beverage menu also features Power Fizzies in strawberry coconut, blue razz, and sour apple, along with smoothies, teas, cold drinks and more.

The brand will also offer mimosa flights along with their selection of coffees and food.

The 1,600-square-foot space will seat approximately 25 guests indoors, including a couch, banquette seating, and tables. Wasch said the design will emphasize comfort, with chic, Instagram-worthy decor and relaxed seating intended to encourage guests to stay. Beignets and Brew designs their cafes to be welcoming spots for the community to slow down with refreshments and snacks.

Outdoor patio seating with umbrellas will also be available.

Franchise Vision

“I’ve been doing franchise work for 30 years,” Wasch told Business Debut. “I’ve represented franchisees but primarily franchise companies. One of the companies that I’ve been representing is Beignets and Brew.”

He said his experience reviewing franchise systems gave him confidence in the brand’s structure and support.

“Because I like the concept so much in representing Beignets and Brew, I bought one,” he told Business Debut. “I wanted to bring one to the Boca Raton community" he added.

Beignets and Brews currently has 19 locations open and 11 more in development across the Southeast.

Taylor Ditty will serve as manager of the Boca Raton location and is responsible for hiring and day-to-day operations. Bailey Jenrich, vice president of the franchisor, is also supporting the opening as part of the corporate leadership team. Wasch said their involvement provides operational structure and brand oversight as the café prepares to open.

Opening Timeline

The Boca Raton location is targeting an April 1 opening.

Hours

Initial hours are expected to begin at 7 a.m. daily. Closing time will range between 7 p.m. and potentially 8 p.m. or 9 p.m., depending on evening traffic in the shopping center.
