BRADENTON, FL - Mister O1 Extraordinary Pizza is planning a Bradenton opening at 5231 University Pkwy, Unit 111, Bradenton, FL 34201, located at the Market at UTC. Owner and operator Karif Cohen told Business Debut the restaurant is targeting a June 23, 2026 opening.

What to Expect

Mister O1 Extraordinary Pizza was founded in 2014 by Italian chef Renato Viola, who came to the United States on an O-1 visa for individuals with extraordinary ability. Cohen said the brand focuses on delivering a consistent guest experience built around product quality and carefully developed kitchen processes.

The menu centers on Roman-style thin crust pizza made with dough fermented for 72 hours. Cohen said the process is designed to create a lighter, more digestible pizza compared to traditional versions.

Guests can expect specialty pies including the brand’s signature star-shaped pizza, which features ricotta-filled pockets built into each point. The menu will also include antipasti, burrata boards sourced from an Italian family producer that works exclusively with the brand, and desserts.

“We ferment our dough for 72 hours,” Cohen told Business Debut. “What that results in is a digestive process after you eat that leaves you satisfied. Our product leaves you satisfied and it’s fresh - it won’t leave you bloated.”

Cohen said the concept focuses on hospitality and creating a welcoming experience for families. Dining rooms are intentionally designed to encourage connection among guests rather than quick transactional visits.

“We treat our guests like somebody who’s in our home and that we want to give the best possible hospitality to,” Cohen told Business Debut. “It’s not just service or a protocol - it’s real human touch and connection.”

The Bradenton restaurant will seat about 50 guests indoors and offer full table service, along with takeout and delivery through Uber Eats.

Cohen operates the restaurants through hospitality group ACA 03, which holds development commitments for multiple Mister O1 locations. The company also operates locations in Texas and Orlando, with plans to expand further throughout Florida’s Gulf Coast communities.

The Mister O1 brand was founded by Viola alongside partner Humberto Mascagni. Additional leadership involved in development includes Daniel Cohen, CEO of ACA, and regional operations partner John Labarge.

Opening Timeline

The Bradenton restaurant is targeting a June 23, 2026 opening, according to Cohen.

Cohen said the group also plans a second Bradenton-area location near Heritage Harbor later this year as part of a broader expansion across Sarasota, Tampa, St. Petersburg, and surrounding Gulf Coast markets.
