The Cheesesteak Truck, a longtime mobile food business in St. Petersburg, is preparing to open a new brick-and-mortar location. The new restaurant, called the Cheesesteak Company, is slated to open soon at 6831 4th St N, St. Petersburg, FL 33702. The truck has been operating since 2012.

Owners Lori and Tom Bradley have been running their food truck since 2012, and this isn’t their first foray into a permanent space. From 2017 to 2023, they operated a kitchen inside the Brewers Tasting Room on 4th Street, serving up their signature cheesesteaks.

Since leaving the space, they've been searching for the right location at the right price—eventually landing on the address above.

The new spot will follow a fast-casual format with takeout, delivery, and around 30 seats for dine-in guests. They will have online ordering for pick and delivery.

The Bradleys also plan to offer beer and wine. The restaurant will be open seven days a week, starting in time for lunch and remaining open until 11 p.m. or midnight on weekdays. Weekend hours will extend even later to accommodate the late-night crowd seeking comfort food and drinks.

If all goes according to plan, they are hoping to open by August.
