The popular independent eatery Chick’N Wok is planning a new location in Lawrenceville, owner Yongchun Fang told Business Debut. While the brand initially aimed to open in Kennesaw, Fang shared that securing a suitable site proved difficult. They are now awaiting approval to convert a former Sonic into Chick’N Wok at 820 Oak Rd SW, Lawrenceville, GA 30044.

The new location will feature a drive-thru, which Fang noted is a major advantage for the business. The menu will offer what the website describes as “Chinese, Thai, Indian, and Malaysian flavors, all prepared with the freshest ingredients.”

Dishes include fried pot stickers, steamed dumplings, honey glazed shrimp, spicy basil seafood, Kung Pao beef, Panang curry chicken, shrimp lo mein, boba teas, and more.

Currently, the restaurant is waiting on permits and approvals to begin the buildout. Fang hopes to receive them by late July and open by October.

You can visit the original location in Marietta in the meantime and follow the brand online at chicknwok.com.
