Kush Wynwood Returning in Miami
Casual dining, local beer, and comfort-driven dishes will define the experience.
MIAMI, FL — Kush Wynwood, owned by Matthew Kuscher and his wife Priscilla Kuscher, is targeting a return this summer at 2003 N Miami Ave, Miami, FL 33127 following a two-year closure due to extensive building renovations. Kuscher told Business Debut the restaurant is aiming for a June or July reopening after structural work on the nearly 100-year-old building.
What to Expect
Kush Wynwood will return as a full-service restaurant with approximately 40 seats indoors along with additional outdoor seating. The concept focuses on a casual, laid-back environment paired with high-level hospitality.
The restaurant will feature a full liquor license with an emphasis on local beer, while maintaining a hands-on service approach. “Even though it's a very casual laid back environment, we like to put our service up there with the most fine dining restaurants,” Kuscher told Business Debut.
Menu and Vision
Kush Wynwood is centered on what Kuscher describes as an authentic representation of Miami. “Cush is basically Miami in your face… from the decor to the menu to the staff,” he told Business Debut.
The menu will highlight burgers, sandwiches, and salads, with a focus on scratch-made items including house-made sauces and ground-in-house burgers. The reopening will also bring together popular items from Kuscher’s other concepts, including Baja fish tacos and a globally recognized sandwich from his deli.
Whenever possible, the restaurant will source ingredients locally across Florida.
Opening Timeline
The team is targeting a summer reopening, with June or July as the current goal.
