Kappuccinos Breakfast & Sport Bar to Open in Jacksonville

JACKSONVILLE, FL — Kappuccinos Breakfast & Sport Bar is preparing to open at 11257 Alta Dr Suite 401, Jacksonville, FL 32226, with owners Keith and Catherine Jones targeting a late spring to early summer debut. Renovations are currently underway as the team moves through interior construction and equipment installation.

Owner Keith Jones told Business Debut the concept blends a morning breakfast café with an evening sports bar designed to serve as a neighborhood gathering place.

What to Expect

Kappuccinos Breakfast & Sport Bar will operate as a fast-casual restaurant with two distinct service periods during the day. The business plans to serve breakfast and lunch in the morning and early afternoon before transitioning into a sports bar atmosphere in the evening.

The space is designed to accommodate both uses without major changes to the layout. Guests may stop in for coffee and breakfast in the morning and return later in the day for drinks, appetizers, or dinner while watching sports.

Jones said the goal is to create a neighborhood hub for the surrounding community.

“We’re hoping to be the neighborhood hub and kind of follow the idea of the show Cheers, where everyone comes in and it’s the local one-stop breakfast and sports bar,” Jones told Business Debut.

Menu and Vision

The breakfast menu will focus on traditional American favorites such as eggs prepared various ways, hash browns, bacon, and sausage. Southern staples like shrimp and grits will also be offered.

The café side of the concept will highlight specialty coffee drinks including cappuccinos, caramel lattes, and other espresso beverages.

Lunch and dinner offerings will expand into classic American fare. Guests can expect items such as cheesesteak sandwiches, burgers, salads, oysters, grilled catfish, wings, shrimp baskets, and steak dinners.

Jones said the menu is designed to be approachable with familiar comfort foods rather than upscale dining.

“I’m more or less looking to accommodate the local casual diners because my prices are very reasonable,” he told Business Debut.

Opening Timeline

Renovations are currently in progress at the Jacksonville location. The project has passed framing inspections, with drywall and HVAC installation expected in the coming weeks.

The team is targeting a late spring to early summer opening.

Hours

Kappuccinos Breakfast & Sport Bar is currently planning to operate Tuesday through Sunday.

Morning service is expected to run from 6 a.m. — 1 p.m., followed by evening sports bar service from 5 p.m. — 10 p.m.
