SARASOTA, FL – A new food trailer, Harvest and Heart SRQ, is preparing to roll out in Sarasota and Manatee County with a focus on wholesome, organic meals made without seed oils or overly processed ingredients. Owners Luigi and Eleonora Raso are bringing their 20+ years of restaurant experience to this mobile concept after previously operating a brick-and-mortar restaurant that was destroyed by Hurricane Ian.

The commissary kitchen is based at 436 Central Ave, Sarasota, FL 34236, but the trailer itself will rotate locations, with schedules shared on Facebook and Instagram. The food truck will start operating next month, according to Luigi Raso, who spoke with Business Debut.

Food Concept and Menu

Harvest and Heart SRQ will serve a range of breakfast, lunch, and dinner items, with an emphasis on clean, organic ingredients. Guests can expect:

  • New York–style bagel sandwiches with eggs, bacon, and deli meats
  • Wraps with organic vegetables and specialty fillings
  • Rotating homemade sides such as potato salad, chicken salad, tuna salad, and salmon dishes
  • Pasta plates and street food options in the evenings
  • Freshly baked goods like cookies, brownies, muffins, and ice cream sandwiches — all made in-house

A Fresh Start After Hurricane Loss

The Rasos owned Breakfast at Victoria's AMI, a popular restaurant that was destroyed by Hurricane Ian in 2022, prior to starting Harvest and Heart SRQ. They chose to start over with a mobile food trailer instead of reconstructing in the same manner. This idea enables them to be adaptable, serve various communities, and recreate their dream in a novel way. “We are starting with something simpler, more mobile,” Raso said.

Hours and Availability

Harvest and Heart SRQ will be open Tuesdays through Sundays, from 7 a.m. – 1 p.m., starting next month. The trailer will also be available for private events and catering, including weddings and gatherings.
