Full Service Mexican Dining Coming to Miami

MIAMI, FL — Casa MX plans to open Saturday, January 24, 2026, at 2345 SW 37th Ave, Miami, FL 33145. Owner Mario Bernal told Business Debut the restaurant will offer on-site parking for guests, a rarity in the Coral Way area that allows visitors to arrive without relying on valet service or searching for street parking.

What to Expect

Bernal described Casa MX as a traditional Mexican restaurant designed to feel like a cozy home, from the decor to the service style. He said the menu is built around smaller plates meant to be shared, giving guests the ability to try multiple items in one visit.

Casa MX will be a full-service casual restaurant with a full bar. The space will have about 100 seats inside and 52 seats outside on a covered, dog-friendly patio.

Menu and Vision

Bernal said guests can expect made-to-order guacamole and a house salsa, along with tostadas, including a tuna tostada. Menu highlights he mentioned also include a shrimp dish with black garlic and a tuna ceviche made with toasted pecan, Maggi and avocado.

Casa MX will also serve steaks, including ribeye, skirt steak and strip steak, plus larger-format dishes such as seafood pastas.

Bernal added Casa MX will offer a full bar with a tequila program that will focus on additive-free selections. All tequilas on the list will be additive free.

Ownership Background

Bernal told Business Debut this is his first time owning a restaurant, but he has worked in the business for more than 20 years. He said he spent the last 10 years working with renowned chef José Andrés, whose restaurant group and humanitarian work through World Central Kitchen he credited as influential during that period.

Executive Chef

Bernal told Business Debut that Casa MX’s executive chef is Kevin Acosta, a Miami-based chef he described as both experienced and talented.

Bernal is extremely proud to have him as part of his team stating “He’s a wonderful chef, He’s been here in Miami for some time, and he’s just a truly wonderful chef.”

Bernal said Acosta will lead the kitchen and be responsible for executing the restaurant’s traditional Mexican menu when Casa MX opens.

• Closed Mondays.
• Tuesday–Thursday: 4 p.m.—10 p.m.
• Friday–Saturday: 11:30 a.m.—11 p.m.
• Sunday: 11:30 a.m.—10 p.m.

Bernal said the restaurant plans to expand to seven days a week for lunch and dinner in the future.
