Family-Run Italian Restaurant Will Expand to Jacksonville Beach
Bella Vista A’mare will open in Jacksonville Beach this December, bringing refined Italian dining and a full bar.
JACKSONVILLE, FL – Bella Vista A'mare Italian Restaurant is preparing to open its second location at 3011 3rd St N, Jacksonville Beach, FL 32250. Owner Giovanni Prignano, alongside his wife Alysha, is leading the new venture with plans to bring elevated Italian dining to Jacksonville Beach. Prignano told Business Debut that Bella Vista A'mare plans to open by early December once final licensing and build-out details are complete.
The new Bella Vista A'mare will seat approximately 125 guests inside, compared to 150 at the original location, and will also include a full bar. Opening hours are still being finalized.
A Refined Italian Dining Concept
The new restaurant will focus more on cooking than pizza and other items, while maintaining the same atmosphere and service, to provide a full-service Italian dining experience. “It's going to be pretty much like the same restaurant, we want to have pizza like a restaurant,” Prignano said. “We're gonna be full service on this location as well.”
Bella Vista A'mare Jacksonville will still feature a Roman-style pizza, which does not require big equipment to cook. It provides a larger space for the kitchen to focus on crafting dishes, not just pizza. “We're not gonna be like a pizzeria like I used to be before,” Prignano stated. “We wanna make sure that everybody knows that there is a difference about it.”
Since this location also has a full bar, guests may expect a thoughtfully curated beverage program to complement Bella Vista’s food offerings in a full-service setting.
Family-Backed Growth
Bella Vista Restaurant, a pizza restaurant, is the first location that started in 2022. Prignano emphasized the importance of family and teamwork in making this expansion possible. His wife, Alysha, who works in finance, plays a key role in supporting the business behind the scenes. “She's always a big part of my whole journey as she always supports me,” Prignano shared. “She always supports me with all the minus vision, and she's always helping me out with pretty much all the financial part.”
Along with Alysha, Prignano credits his dedicated staff, cousins, and friends who have all contributed to Bella Vista’s growth and expansion.
