Embassy Suites by Hilton Deerfield Beach Resort & Spa Welcomes New General Manager

FORT LAUDERDALE, FL. – Hilton (NYSE: HLT) has appointed Courtney Hatfield as the new general manager of the newly renovated Embassy Suites by Hilton Deerfield Beach Resort & Spa. A hospitality veteran with more than two decades of experience, Hatfield will oversee all aspects of the resort’s operations, including guest services, financial performance, team development, and owner relations. She will focus on driving profitability, maintaining brand standards and fostering a culture of excellence through engaged leadership. 

In her most recent role, Hatfield served as complex hotel manager of Embassy Suites by Hilton International Drive Convention Center and DoubleTree Suites by Hilton Orlando – Disney Springs Area. She has also held management positions at Hilton West Palm Beach, where she assisted in the property's pre-opening and helped lead the hotel through the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic and subsequent growth.

Her passion for community involvement has led her to serve as chairperson of the International Drive Resort Area Chamber of Commerce. During her tenure with Hilton, Hatfield has been acknowledged for her success in improving service standards, strengthening F&B performance, and delivering consistent property-wide results. A Florida native, she is a proud graduate of the University of Central Florida’s Rosen School of Hospitality.

Hatfield’s appointment comes as the resort nears the completion of a multimillion-dollar renovation, which reimagines the resort’s exterior with a refreshed palette and improved fixtures that enhance the guest experience. Additionally, the latest transformation follows a comprehensive first-phase renovation completed in 2024, which included reimagined public spaces, redesigned guest rooms and a rebranded signature dining experience at Beach Terrace Restaurant featuring authentic Caribbean cuisine. The completion of the resort’s exterior renovation coincided with Deerfield Beach's centennial anniversary, marking 100 years of coastal heritage, community spirit and timeless charm.
