JACKSONVILLE, FL — Emangeo’s Brick Oven Pizza plans to open a dine-in restaurant on December 17 at 10920 Baymeadows Rd, Jacksonville, FL 32256. Owner George Schneider told Business Debut the team is finalizing permitting and buildout.

What to Expect

The new location is planned for about 70 seats with a service model still being finalized. Schneider said the team is considering fast casual during the day with runners and possible full service at night, but details could shift based on operations.

Beer and wine are planned. Guests will find a feature wall that tells the company’s “road to Jacksonville” journey, ending with a mock-up of the original food trailer.

“We have two styles of pizza—New Haven style and New York style—along with slices and calzones,” he told Business Debut. The New Haven style pies are baked in the brick oven, while the NY style pizzas are baked in a Baker's Pride oven, Schneider said.

The menu also includes Italian staples such as spaghetti, fettuccine Alfredo, lasagna, and wings. The team is exploring a new pizza style for the future, to be announced.

Roots and Growth

Emangeo’s began as a food trailer in 2021. The Schneiders opened a brick-and-mortar takeout operation in 2023 and are now expanding to a full dine-in restaurant.

The business is family-run. Husband and wife George and Tina Schneider own the company, and their children, Jonathan and Emily Schneider, also work in the business.

Opening Timeline

The team is targeting December 17. Schneider noted permitting is “almost complete."

Hours

Planned hours are seven days a week, 11 a.m. — 9 p.m. A Sunday brunch is under consideration for next year.
