Here’s what’s new around Cumberland County this week: two big openings (Club Love and Dad Bod District), one debuting today (Waiting Room at 106), and a bookstore–wine bar (Bound & Vine) landing very soon with an author event on Nov. 15.

Club Love (nightlife) — 3213 Cedar Creek Rd, Fayetteville

Theme nights all week: tequila Tuesdays, $3-entry Wednesdays, old-school R&B Thursdays, hip-hop Fridays, and Latin Saturdays. Drinks lead the program; a kitchen may come later. Open Tuesday–Sunday with rotating formats.

Dad Bod District (restaurant + rooftop) — 229 Hay St, Fayetteville (Historic Kress Building)

Multi-level concept: family-friendly sports restaurant on the first floor, rooftop tapas and premium pours, and an events/entertainment floor to follow. Opened September 20, 2025, with plans for late-night hours on weekends once level two debuts. Menu spans Southern comfort BBQ plus rotating international specials.

Waiting Room at 106 (cocktail lounge) — 106 Person St, Fayetteville

Cocktail-forward lounge from the Circa 1800 team. Separate kitchen with its own appetizer menu, cocktail classes, and private events; no children permitted. Initial hours: Wed–Thu 5–9:30 p.m.; Fri–Sat 5–10 p.m.; Sun brunch 10:30 a.m.–3 p.m.

Bound & Vine (bookstore + wine bar) — 134 Person St, Fayetteville

General-interest bookstore with a strong fiction focus (including romantasy) plus deep nonfiction and local authors. Wine bar with rotating selections and monthly book-and-wine pairings; NA options and cold brew planned. Event: Nov. 15, 6–8 p.m. — Jennifer Barnhill, The Military Stories You’ve Been Told and the Ones You Need to Hear (free RSVP; optional book purchase for signing). Opening “very soon”; hours TBA.
