Coming Soon Siesta Key: Whit's Frozen Custard

Here's what the location's franchisee shared with us.

SARASOTA, FL – Whit's Frozen Custard is preparing to open a new shop at 5147 Ocean Blvd. Sarasota FL 34242 targeting a soft opening by late July, franchisee Larry Fineberg told Business Debut in a phone interview.
He is launching the shop with his sons Jason, Drew and Matthew Fineberg, who will be operating the business.

What to Expect

Whit's Frozen Custard focuses on frozen custard made in-store each morning. "We make it fresh, we come in the morning, we make the custard and it is served fresh," Fineberg shared with Business Debut in a phone interview.

He said the core offerings are vanilla and chocolate along with rotating flavors. Toppings and mix-ins will be blended into the custard in several styles of dishes.

Fineberg said the family was drawn to the franchise after tasting the product and learning that Whit's locations have earned best-tasting custard recognitions in multiple markets.

The Siesta Key location will be the first Whit's Frozen Custard shop for the Fineberg family. They signed on to open three locations, but Fineberg also shared that they may open more than that.
