Coming Soon Boynton Beach & Stuart: C.R. Chicks
This will be the first C.R. Chicks location outside of Palm Beach County.
BOYNTON BEACH, FL — C.R. Chicks is preparing two new locations in South Florida at 6649 Boynton Beach Blvd, Boynton Beach, FL 33437 and 3600 SE Federal Hwy, Stuart, FL 34997, co-owner Jonathan Luther told Business Debut in a recent phone interview.
Luther said construction in Boynton Beach is about 60 percent complete. The Stuart project is moving in parallel.
The concept, founded in 1992, focuses on fast-casual service built around rotisserie chicken and has seven locations across Palm Beach County.
What to Expect
Both new restaurants are under construction with interior and back-of-house redesigns. The team is adding equipment and reworking the equipment line for speed and workflow.
Luther said guests can expect updated design, custom music, and a more contemporary look and feel, while still reflecting the brand’s history.
Menu and Vision
The core C.R. Chicks menu will carry into Boynton Beach and Stuart. Expect whole rotisserie chickens, half chickens, quarter chickens, sandwiches, pastas, sides, and family-style dinners for feeding a group.
He added that the company is taking a more adventurous approach to food across the brand, with more innovation from the kitchen with upcoming limited-time offerings.
“Our aim is to grow a few more as we move forward,” Luther said in the interview.
C.R. Chicks was founded by Chris Sallen and Rick Davis, who developed the concept after working at Charlie’s Crab in the late 1980s and early 1990s, Luther told Business Debut.
Ownership has since transitioned to an investment group including Jon Luther, Dan Bowers, Jonathan Luther, Thompson Blake and Cole Sones.
Opening Timeline
Luther said Boynton Beach is targeting an opening in the fourth quarter.
He said Stuart will likely open about eight weeks after Boynton Beach to allow for training and staffing.
