Chic's Bakery Opening Second Location in Norcross

NORCROSS, GA — Chic’s Bakery is preparing to open a second location at 5510 Spalding Drive Unit C, Norcross, Georgia, 30092. Owner Brian Chic told Business Debut the team is finishing interior details and is hoping to open by the end of March if final preparations stay on track.

The Norcross shop will expand on the concept from the original Panaderia Chic’s Bakery in Doraville, which has been operating for about eight years.

What to Expect

The new location will combine a traditional bakery with a larger food menu focused on Central American dishes. Guests can expect pastries alongside items such as tacos, quesadillas, empanadas, flautas, soups, and stews.

Chic said the Norcross location will place a stronger emphasis on savory food compared to the Doraville shop, which primarily focuses on baked goods. “It’s mainly a bakery, but we’re also doing food like tacos and empanadas,” Chic told Business Debut.

Menu and Vision

The menu will feature strong Central American influences, particularly from Guatemala, while also incorporating dishes common across neighboring countries such as Mexico, Honduras, and El Salvador.

Breakfast will also play a role in the concept. Chic said guests can expect egg plates prepared in a variety of traditional styles, including versions with tomatoes, onions, and jalapeños or a mild house salsa.

“We’re kind of keeping it Central American so people can try a little bit of everything,” Chic told Business Debut.

Opening Timeline

The team is currently completing final interior work and targeting an opening by the end of March. Chic said the timeline depends on finishing the remaining details inside the space.

Hours

The Norcross location is expected to operate seven days a week.
Planned hours are 6 a.m. — 8 p.m., with breakfast, pastries, and hot food served throughout the day.
