Chez Victor Expanding With New St. Pete Beach Location
French crepes, quiche, and classic breakfast dishes headline the forthcoming St. Pete Beach.
ST. PETE BEACH, FL — Chez Victor, a French restaurant centered on classic breakfast and lunch fare, is planning a new location at 5050 Gulf Blvd, St. Pete Beach, FL 33706. Owners Myrha Queen and her husband, Lione Belda, told Business Debut they are targeting an opening before the end of the year.
What to Expect
The St. Pete Beach restaurant will operate as a full-service concept with approximately 30 to 50 seats. Queen told Business Debut the space is intended to reflect a traditional French café atmosphere while remaining approachable for locals and visitors.
Chez Victor already operates locations in Largo and Clearwater. Queen said the couple decided to expand after seeing consistent demand for their French offerings across Pinellas County.
Menu and Vision
The menu will focus on French breakfast and lunch classics. Queen told Business Debut guests can expect items such as crepes, quiche, and other traditional French dishes prepared in a simple, authentic style.
“We want to bring that experience to them so they can get to know the European culture as well,” Queen told Business Debut. She said the goal is to offer French food that feels familiar and accessible, even for guests who may be trying it for the first time.
Breakfast and lunch service will launch first, with dinner service under consideration on select days at a later stage. Queen said those decisions will be made after the restaurant is established.
The Name Behind Chez Victor
Chez Victor is named after Queen and Belda’s 11-year-old son, Victor, who Queen said is the inspiration behind the restaurant. “He’s very smart, very sweet, and very loving,” Queen told Business Debut.
She said naming the business after her son was deeply personal and reflects the values she and her husband want the restaurant to embody. Queen added that Victor’s kindness and warmth influence how they approach both their food and how they welcome guests, keeping the concept rooted in family and care.
Opening Timeline
Queen told Business Debut the team is working toward opening before December 30. A specific opening date has not yet been announced.
Hours
At opening, Chez Victor plans to operate seven days a week from 8 a.m.–4 p.m. Hours may be adjusted after launch based on customer demand.
