A south-Lakeland restaurant is moving into a new space in downtown very soon, co-owner Berna Nar told FFBW. Café Zuppina will expand their seating and menu in the new location, Nar said.

Café Zuppina has been serving Turkish and Mediterranean food in south Lakeland for over 15 year, Lakeland Now reported.

Café Zuppina will continue to offer their market along with the restaurant, much like their previous location. According to reporting in Lakeland Now, the market is planned to open sometime shortly after the restaurant does. Nar said that the restaurant will have capacity for 100 guests.

The menu will expand as well. Nar didn't share specific dishes, but mentioned that they will continue to serve healthy and organic foods. She plans to add more gluten free and dairy free options, offering a wider selection of meals to people with dietary restrictions.

Currently, Nar and her husband, Erkan, are working as quickly as possible to ready the space. They've closed down their original location to focus on re-opening in this one. Their hope is to be ready in two or three weeks.

Find the new spot at: 116 S Tennessee Ave, Lakeland, FL 33801.
