Boda Now Open in Tampa With Authentic Mexican Cuisine
From the owner of Riveters in Tampa, Boda will be a polished fast casual Mexican spot.

Boda, a new and polished fast casual Mexican restaurant, is now open in Tampa, owner Andres Farfan shared with Business Debut. The restaurant operates in the former Not Your Average Joe’s Pizza space at 2038 N Dale Mabry Hwy, Tampa, FL 33607.
Fresh, Never Frozen Food
Farfan, who also owns Riveters sports bar in Tampa, shared the concept offers never-frozen food—there will be no freezers on the property—and fresh, authentic Mexican cuisine in a refined fast casual setting.
Middle Ground Between Full Service and Taquerias
In our interview, Farfan noted a gap in the market between pricier full-service Mexican restaurants and hole-in-the-wall taquerias. Boda aims to bridge that gap by offering quality and value in a more polished environment. The chefs, Farfan added, are from Veracruz, Mexico.
The word “boda” means “wedding” in Spanish, and the restaurant features a Day of the Dead wedding theme throughout its décor.
