Another edition of weekly restaurant developments.
Welcome back to the restaurant round up. We have a nice array of restaurants, food trucks and cafes to report on from Panama City to Miami.

DADE COUNTY
Black Sheep Coffee
The United Kingdom-based brand Black Sheep Coffee is expanding into the United States, US Project Manager Sam Haleva told FFBW. Currently, there are nearly 90 locations open in the United Kingdom. With two locations open in Texas, Black Sheep Coffee will open their third US unit in Miami in Q1-Q2 of 2o24.
Haleva said that they are looking to continue expanding in South Florida, with potential cafes aimed at Delray Beach, Boca Raton and Doral.

BROWARD COUNTY
Fusion 524
Personal chef and caterer Daphney Hoover is opening a food trailer in Broward County soon. Fusion 524 will serve a fusion of Caribbean cuisine and other world cuisines like American, Asian, and European.
Chef Daphney has been in the catering and personal chef business for years and plans to go mobile on February 1st. The truck will go to events, cater and will find local areas to stake out. Visit Chef Daphney's Instagram page in the meantime.
PALM BEACH / COLLIER COUNTY
Tap 42
Two new locations of the popular South Florida brand Tap 42 are on the way to Naples and Palm Beach Gardens. VP of Development Alex Rudolph told FFBW that the Naples restaurant will be the first to open outside of Southeast Florida.
The Palm Beach Gardens location is planned to open in Gardens Mall at: 3101 PGA Boulevard, Palm Beach Gardens, FL 33410. Rudolph estimates a January opening. This restaurant will also be the brand's largest, clocking in at 8,000 square feet.
The Naples location is early on in the construction phase. They will open in the Mercato Mall at: 9118 Strada Pl #8155, Naples, FL 34108. An opening date isn't available yet.

COLLIER COUNTY
Naples Society Wine Bar
A new wine bar and small plates concept is opening very soon in Naples. Owner Thierry Pourchet is planning to present Naples Society Wine Bar in the next couple of weeks.
The bar will feature craft beer and a 200 bottle wine list, all available by the glass. Additionally, Naples Society Wine Bar will offer cheese boards, charcuterie and salads. Pourchet reported that this is his first venture into restaurant ownership; however, he has enjoyed a successful 25 year long career in the wine and spirits industry.
The wine bar will also feature weekly wine tastings, classes and clubs. They will serve wines from across the globe, from Europe, South Africa, New Zealand and more.

BREVARD COUNTY
Space Coast DonutNV
A new donut trailer is opening soon in Brevard County. Owner Keoni McMahon told FFBW that DonutNV will likely open at the beginning of next year.
DonutNV is a franchised brand, McMahon said, that specializes in fresh cooked mini donuts with several different options for toppings. Additionally, they offer lemonades and iced coffees.
McMahon reported that he and his family are excited to bring the trailer to the greater Brevard County area, moving to events and festivals from the Space Coast to Melbourne and beyond.

LAKE COUNTY
Mission BBQ
Franchisee William Leahy is bringing two locations of Mission BBQ to Clermont soon. He estimates that they will open in Q3 of 2024 in Clermont at: 1225 E Hwy 50, Clermont, FL 34711.
The second location will be in Mount Dora, and will open in 2025. An address isn't available as of yet.
POLK COUNTY
Hakucho
Owners of Sābu Ramen are bringing a new Japanese small plates concept to Lakeland soon, co-owner Christopher Cleghorn told FFBW. Hakucho will be what is called an izakaya, a Japanese bar that serves small and shareable plates in a relaxing atmosphere.
Hakucho will serve lunch and dinner Tuesday through Sunday, with a Sunday brunch and late hours (1-2 AM) on Friday and Saturday. They will be closed on Monday. Cleghorn said that between their indoor and outdoor space, they'll have around 120 seats.
The concept is planned to open in the spring or summer of next year. In the meantime, follow visit the Sābu Ramen Instagram page.

SARASOTA COUNTY
Mangia Che E Buono
A new authentic Italian restaurant is coming to Sarasota, owner Lanny Tamperino told FFBW. Mangia Che E Buono will combine authentic, imported Italian foods, drinks and goods into a grab-and-go concept.
The menu will include all manner of Sicilian food, Roman pizza, charcuterie, wine, beer, espresso, cannolis, gelato and much more. Guests can order and take out or sit in with their food and drinks.

HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY
Yaya Southern Cuisine
A new family owned southern cooking restaurant is opening soon in Tampa, co-owner Laverne Madir told FFBW. Yaya Souther Cuisine will serve a wide range of southern foods, from fried chicken, collard greens, to mac and cheese and more.
Madir reported that they plan to open either December 30 or January 6th. To keep up with the brand, follow their social media.

Salty Moon
A new food truck specializing in gourmet fries will be operating in Hillsborough, Pasco, and Pinellas Counties soon, owner April Hollifield told FFBW. Salty Moon will offer menu items like Not Your Mama's Chili Cheese fries, biscuits and gravy over fries, BBQ Beer Cheese Pork fries, S'mores dessert sweet potato fries (topped with marshmallows, chocolate and bacon) and much more.
In addition to fries, Hollifield will serve the Sassy Klucker Sandwich, which will be chicken breast, topped with jalapeño poppers, smoked gouda and a house sauce.
This is Hollifield's first food truck, but she has some experience catering. She will attend events and be available for catering. Salty Moon should be operational before January 2024.
PASCO COUNTY
Steak N Shake
Wesley Chapel will soon welcome a Steak N Shake restaurant to the area, co-franchisee Todd Webb told FFBW. This location has been in the works for about two years, and Webb foresees opening by the end of Q1 2024.
Webb, who has been in the restaurant business for many years, said that this is his first time franchising a Steak N Shake restaurant. If all goes well, he intends to continue growing in the area.

One Love Jerk Pot
A new food truck serving jerk chicken, jerk pork and curry chicken is opening soon. Owner Ronnie Hammick told FFBW that he is planning to open around the first of the year.
Hammick also mentioned that they would serve rice and beans with their proteins. No website or social media is available as of now.
CITRUS COUNTY
Tangerine Tree Luncheonette
A new healthy lunch spot recently opened Crystal River, owner Kimberly Scheffer told FFBW. After a long career as a nurse, Scheffer is realizing her dream of opening a healthy eating lunch spot.
Tangerine Tree Luncheonette features a range of healthy and delicious food options, from chicken salad, pot pie with seasonal vegetables, salads with homemade dressings, soups, gazpacho, juices, smoothies and more. Scheffer will have weekly specials written on a board that also describes the nutritional value of its ingredients.

ST. JOHN'S COUNTY
The Black Molly Grill
Local St. Augustine staple the Black Molly Grill is moving to a new location about a mile and a half away from its current spot, co-owner Jason Hamilton told FFBW. Hamilton stated that they are moving from a building that they rent to a building that they own.
The concept, known for delicious seafood, pasta, burgers and desserts, will remain the same. Hamilton said that the new space will be about 30% bigger than the original.

DUVAL COUNTY
Home Boy BBQ & More
A new food truck is opening in Jacksonville soon, owner Willie Slaughter told FFBW. Home Boy BBQ will serve ribs, chicken, burgers, pork chops, steaks and more. While more focused on the BBQ side of the menu initially, Slaughter also plans to offer soul food once he's been open for a bit.
Home Boy BBQ & More is projected to open in mid-January.
BAY COUNTY
Homie's Eatery
A new American style cafe is opening in Panama City soon, owner Ryan Arey told FFBW. Homie's Eatery will serve lunch and dinner, offering American home cooked cuisine.
Guests will order at a counter and then find seats to enjoy their meal. Arey said that they are amidst construction currently. An opening date is unknown as of now.
