BOYNTON BEACH, FL – Antonacci Artisan Pizza Cafe is preparing to bring a slice of Italy to 4752 N Congress Ave, Boynton Beach, FL 33426.

The concept is led by Pietro (Peter) Antonacci and his brother, Giuseppe, along with their family. They are combining their Italian roots, artistic background, and passion for authentic pizza into one cafe. The business is targeting a soft opening within the next three weeks, followed by a grand opening in mid-November, Pietro Antonacci told Business Debut. We came across the story first in What Now.

During the soft opening, the restaurant plans to operate Tuesday through Saturday from 11:30 a.m. – 9 p.m., with Sundays and Mondays closed. Once fully open, Antonacci Artisan Pizza Cafe will extend to seven days a week, 11:30 a.m. – 9 p.m., and may stay open until 11 p.m. on weekends.

A Concept Inspired by Art and Italy

The cafe mixes design inspired by Da Vinci with a modern Italian dining experience. Inside, there's an indoor garden and museum with Roman columns, covered walkways with ivy, and exceptional Italian art pieces. Antonacci, who worked as an art director in pharmaceutical advertising for 35 years, designed much of the space himself.

“I don't want an ordinary pizzeria. I want something different,” Antonacci said. “I want to do something that someone hasn't done.”

The cafe will feature 48 indoor seats and 12 outdoor seats, operating as a full-service restaurant with dine-in and takeout options.

A Menu Featuring Italy’s 20 Regions

The menu highlight is 20 regional pies of Italy, with each region represented by a specialty pizza. The lineup includes:

  • 14 red pies with tomato-based sauce
  • A 21st century Americana pie inspired by the classic American slice
  • Wood-fired sourdough pizzas made with finely ground 00 flour, crafted in an oval shape

Beyond pizza, the menu will include paninis, salads, appetizers, baked ziti, lasagna, and a Thai dessert. Beverage offerings feature Italian beer, wine, San Pellegrino, Acqua Panna, and bottled sodas. Espresso and cappuccino are also in the works.

Family Legacy and First Restaurant Venture

Though this is the Antonacci family’s first-owned restaurant in Florida, the tradition runs deep. Antonacci worked in pizza earlier in life before entering pharmaceutical advertising, and the family has a cousin who owns a pizzeria in Italy.

“I figured it was time to get back into my true love, which is making pizza,” Antonacci shared.
