Ahmay’s Cuisine, a catering company owned by May Aungthet, is transitioning into a food truck this October, offering Aungthet's Burmese cuisine.

Originally from Myanmar, Aungthet described her Burmese cooking as a fusion of Chinese, Thai and Indian flavors.

The Ahmay Cuisine website describes popular menu items: Mohinga, a fish-based noodle soup, Ohn-no-khauk-swe, a coconut milk-based noodle soup, and Shan-style rice topped with meats and vegetables and several other dishes.

Ahmay’s Cuisine will continue catering and frequenting pop-up spots like NOBO Brewing Company and Garden District Taproom. Keep up with their event calendar online at Ahmay's Cuisine.
