This week we have expansions from established Atlanta-areas brands (Knuckies, The Nest Cafe, Trap Wingz) and some new establishments coming soon (Black Pizza, Botanico, and Incognito).
We interviewed each restaurant owners to confirm the details below.
Fulton County
Black Pizza Bankhead
BANKHEAD, GA — A new, black-owned pizzeria is opening in Bankhead at 2079 Joseph E Boone Blvd NW Atlanta, GA 30314. Founders Sela Afeworki and Natnael Tekeste are behind the project, along with additional partners. The family-friendly pizzeria is slated to open by the end of May or early June, Afeworki shared.
Botanico & Incognito
ATLANTA, GA — Botanico Hospitality Group is planning two new Atlanta concepts: Botanico at 1106 Crescent Ave NE, Atlanta, GA 30309
and Incognito at 1025 Howell Mill Rd NW, Atlanta, GA 30318, partner Felipe Rivera told Business Debut. Botanico is targeting an August opening in Midtown, and Incognito is targeting an early June opening in West Midtown.
Knuckies Sandwiches and Sips
JOHNS CREEK, GA — Knuckies Sandwiches and Sips is planned for Medley at 4108 Medley Blvd., Johns Creek, GA 30097, with an opening planned for October 29th at 10 a.m., founder Todd Broderick told Business Debut. The opening is planned in step with the broader Medley development, which will open all at once on the 29th of October.
The Nest Cafe
JOHNS CREEK, GA — The Nest Cafe is planning to open its third metro Atlanta location at 11650 Johns Creek Pkwy, Johns Creek, GA 30097 in the Medley development. Owner Jordan Segal told Business Debut that a grand opening is planned across the entire development for October 29 at 10 a.m.
Trap Wingz
ATLANTA, GA — Trap Wingz is opening two new locations in Atlanta, founder Damico Green shared with Business Debut in a recent interview. The first location to open is planned for 4725 S Atlanta Rd SE, Atlanta, GA 30339, in the strip development that previously housed Bites. The next will be at: 3755 Carmia Dr SW #430, Atlanta, GA 30331.
