Black Pizza Bankhead Planning to Open Soon on Joseph E. Boone Blvd
Expect the new business to open in late May or Early June.
BANKHEAD, GA – A new, black-owned pizzeria is opening in Bankhead at 2079 Joseph E Boone Blvd NW Atlanta, GA 30314. Founders Selam Afeworki and Natnael Tekeste are behind the project, along with additional partners.
The family-friendly pizzeria is slated to open by the end of May or early June, Afeworki shared.
What to Expect
Black Pizza will be a full-service pizzeria with dining room occupancy for up to 65 guests. The shop will specialize in New York-style slices and full pies.
Afeworki shared that the business will be family-oriented and will run family-sized specials that will include pizzas, wings, fries, and drinks.
They will craft their pizzas with a special in-house sauce recipe. Additional menu items will include specialty pizzas, wings, and fries. Combos will be available so guests can enjoy their full array of items in one meal.
Black Pizza is built on great food, strong hospitality, and creating a meaningful impact in the community. They are focused on building a sustainable business that creates jobs, invests locally, and contributes to long term neighborhood growth.
Hours
The pizzeria will be open 7 days a week for lunch and dinner. Expect them to open by the end of the month or early in June.
