From sprawling Spanish concepts in International Plaza to a new stationary food trucks, here are few new and coming soon businesses set to debut in the Tampa area.

Bowlish (Carrollwood)

Address: 10420 N Dale Mabry Hwy, Tampa, FL 33618

What to expect: Mediterranean fast-casual built around bowls and wraps—nothing fried, only grilled, oven-baked, or air-fried. Bases include rice, brown rice, quinoa, or bulgur. Proteins range from chicken shawarma and spicy chicken to beef, kebab, salmon, shrimp, and falafel.

Drinks & sweets: Two daily soups, six fresh juices, Moroccan mint tea, milkshakes, and desserts like baklava cheesecake and pistachio pudding. Breakfast service, starting at 7 a.m., is planned a couple of weeks after opening.

Hours & timing: Daily 10 a.m.–10 p.m.; owner targeted opening the weekend of Oct. 3. Seating for about 40 inside and 10 outside.

Indian Food Bandi (Town ’N’ Country)

What to expect: Stationary food truck serving South Indian home-style cooking from family recipes. Think rice and chicken bowls, whole-wheat wraps, and spicy, tangy house sandwiches. Lassi smoothies (sweet, mango, tart) and millet rice options for a protein-forward meal. Everything is made fresh in view.

Hours: Tuesday-Sunday 4pm-11pm (according to Instagram)

Coming Soon

Homesick Bagels and Coffee (NoHo)

Address: 1528 W North B St a, Tampa, FL 33606

What to expect: Counter-service only, no seating. Kettle-boiled bagels, breakfast sandwiches, and nine specialty lunch sandwiches. Straightforward, neighborhood-first service.

Hours: Daily 7 a.m.–3 p.m.

Opening window: Final inspections underway; aiming to open before year’s end. Timelines are linked to the restaurant next door.

Giancarlo’s (NoHo)

Address: 1532 W North B St, Tampa, FL 33606

What to expect: All-day program—diner-leaning breakfast, deli-style hot and cold sandwiches and burgers at lunch, and a tavern-style dinner with Italian specialties and pasta. Order at the counter or be seated by a host. An outdoor area with bocce courts is planned.

Extras: Espresso bar and a small market for grab-and-go. Casual but curated vibe—suit or sweatpants both fit. Brunch-style offerings run daily until at least 2 p.m.

Hours: Sun–Thu 7 a.m.–11 p.m.; Fri–Sat 7 a.m.–12 a.m.

Ceviche (International Plaza)

What to expect: Full-service Spanish tapas for lunch and dinner. About 240 seats across indoor dining, a covered patio, and an outdoor patio, plus roughly 25 bar stools. Look for a glass-enclosed wine room holding about 2,000 bottles and an open kitchen.

Menu notes: Oxtail, grilled octopus, several ceviches, four paellas, and jamón ibérico carved to order. Lighter lunch options tailored to mall traffic.

Timeline & hours: Construction planned to start early February with a late-July opening target. Tentative hours: Sun 11 a.m.–9 p.m.; Mon–Thu 11 a.m.–10 p.m.; Fri–Sat 11 a.m.–11 p.m. Closed Thanksgiving and Christmas.
