Con Amor — Tampa (Seminole Heights) [added Feb. '26]
Address: 5240 N Florida Ave, Tampa, FL 33603
Status: Soft openings now; quiet opening late January/early February; grand opening Feb. 6 (after Gasparilla).
What to expect: Modern Mexican in an upscale-casual setting with ~120 seats, a front patio, and garage parking access until 12 a.m. daily.
Menu highlights: House-nixtamalized masa anchors tacos designed individually; “mastacini” (masa riff on arancini), chochollotes with braised duck, and grilled-masa tatelas with deshebrada.
Hours: Tue–Sun 3–9 p.m.; Fri–Sat until 10 p.m.
Who’s behind it: Chef Taylor Dillon (kitchen with Collin Hatfield) and Kayla Dillon (FOH + bar). They also wholesale their masa to local restaurants.
Byte — Temple Terrace [added Feb. '26]
Address: 10935 N 56th St, Temple Terrace, FL 33617
Status: Targeting February opening; first location for the brand.
What to expect: Fast-casual smash burger spot with ~30 seats, bar seating, and a sleek, urban look. No waitstaff.
Menu highlights: Three core burgers (classic, house with Byte sauce, truffle); Lebanese-inspired chicken sandwich; falafel-style veggie smash; fries, onion strings, chicken nuggets; cookies-and-shake desserts.
Hours: Expected 11 a.m.–10 p.m. (later on weekends possible).
Who’s behind it: Tampa brothers Ahmed and Ali Mansour; flagship near the University of Tampa planned for late 2026/early 2027.
Teaspoon Brandon — Brandon [added Feb. '26]
Address: 1951 W Lumsden Rd, Brandon, FL 33511
Status: Open since June; official grand opening this Spring.
What to expect: Boba shop and snack bar serving gourmet teas alongside wings, fried chicken, and comfort snacks.
Menu highlights: Signature milk teas and fruit teas, plus savory sides.

Quiote Tequilaria — South Tampa (Bayshore) [added Feb. '26]
Address: 2109 Bayshore Blvd, Tampa, FL 33606
Status: Targeting March opening, pending construction and training.
What to expect: Intimate fine-dining Mexican (70–80 seats) with stone walls, candlelit vibe, open kitchen, and agave-centric art.
Menu highlights: Focused list: 4–5 tacos, shareables, select entrées—e.g., lamb belly chicharrón taco on blue masa, grilled quail over white mole, scallop aguachile with prickly pear.
Hours: Wed–Sun; kitchen until 11 p.m./midnight, bar until 1 a.m. Expanded hours planned later.
Who’s behind it: Owner Gene Davis; Executive Chef Felicia Lacalle; beverage program by Adam Welch with additive-free tequilas and mezcals.
The Wing Wagon — Gibsonton [added Feb. '26]
Address: 11201 US Hwy 41 S, Gibsonton, FL 33534
Status: Now open; first permanent home after years as a roaming truck.
What to expect: Made-to-order wings with limited seating under shaded tents; family-friendly add-ons.
Menu highlights: 10–12 sauces (buffalo, BBQ, lemon pepper, Cajun, sweet chili, orange bourbon, more), house nuggets, fries/loaded fries, and empanadas (chicken or beef, with or without cheese).
Hours: Thu–Fri 2–7 p.m.; Sat 2–8 p.m.
Extras: Catering via email; delivery on DoorDash. Owners: Lina Rosario and Frank Loubriel.
Cyber Nachos — Food Truck (Hillsborough + beyond) [added Feb. '26]
Status: Targeting rollout around Jan. 15, pending final permits/inspection.
What to expect: Mobile nacho truck booking events across Hillsborough, plus Pinellas, Pasco, and Polk. Stacked, layered builds to keep chips saucy throughout.
Menu highlights: “Trojan Upload” gyro-style pita-chip nachos; classic beef or grilled chicken; “Cyber Spuds” (Irish-style waffle-fry nachos); sauces like jalapeño ranch and habanero sour cream.
Hours: Operating seven days a week based on event bookings.

Two Fold Coffee & Kitchen — Tampa [added Dec. 25]
Address: 301 S. Falkenburg Rd., Tampa, FL 33619
Status: Targeting April 2026 (early Q2).
What to expect: Elevated fast-casual coffee + scratch kitchen designed for working, meetings, and longer hangs. Opening within collaborative space The Garrison House.
Menu highlights: Craft coffee; breakfast staples like bacon, egg, and cheese sandwiches, avocado toast, and burrito-style items; beer & wine; small plates developed with Chef Viet Vo.
Hours: Planned Mon–Thu 7 a.m.–9 p.m.; Fri–Sat 7 a.m.–11 p.m.; Sun closed.
Who’s behind it: Owners Jason & Emily Smith; Phil Schiller overseeing daily ops; part of The Garrison House.

Haddaburger — Temple Terrace [added Dec. 25]
Address: 8932 Bertha Palmer Blvd Unit A, Temple Terrace, FL 33617
Status: Aiming for January opening; early February if needed.
What to expect: Fast-casual halal smashburger spot with counter ordering, ~24 indoor seats, and planned outdoor seating.
Menu highlights: Sub-15 item menu; smashburgers with onions & jalapeños smashed into the patty; Gulf-inspired milkshakes (mango, saffron, rose); Nashville-style mozzarella logs (three spice levels); loaded fries. All halal-certified.
Hours: Daily, approximately 11 a.m.–12 a.m. (final hours TBA).

Papi’s Tampa — Ybor City (Tampa) [added Dec. 25]
Address: 1708–1710 E 7th Ave, Tampa, FL 33605
Status: Targeting late December with a New Year’s Eve grand opening.
What to expect: Two-level restaurant + lounge; day = fast-casual ordering and pickup at the bar; night = late-night destination with dancing/lounge. Bars on both floors; ~100 seats on the first floor plus 30–40 upstairs; applying for patio seating; delivery via major apps.
Menu highlights: Smash burgers at affordable prices, American bar staples, and Latin-inspired small plates reflecting Ybor’s “Spanish soul.”
Hours: Considering daily 11 a.m.–3 a.m. (TBA).

Saladworks & Frutta Bowls — Riverview [added Dec. 25]

Status: Aiming for the first week of March (pending final inspections).
What to expect: Dual-concept fast casual with kiosks; ~27 indoor seats plus patio; catering available.
Menu highlights: Saladworks—12 signature salads, build-your-own, soups, wraps, hot sandwiches. Frutta Bowls—smoothies, specialty coffees, açaí bowls, avocado toast, breakfast, plus a popular “Dubai Chocolate” item.
Hours: Planned daily 8 a.m.–8 p.m. (final hours to confirm).
Who’s behind it: Owner Haifa Eltaher with sons Zayn and Farris; hold the Tampa territory and plan two more locations.
