  • 25th & Liberty Food Truck Depot — 2500 N Liberty St, Winston-Salem, NC 27105. Phillip Baker’s indoor–outdoor court will rotate 5–7 trucks with patio seating and a bar, giving groups lots of choice across multiple cuisines and late-night hours. Read more.
  • Miam Breakfast House — 2415 Lawndale Dr A, Greensboro, NC 27408. The third location brings an early-December opening with 160 seats and a patio, serving breakfast, brunch & lunch classics from 7 a.m.–2:30 p.m. Read more.
  • Southern Style Elegance — 414 E Market St, Greensboro, NC 27401. A grab-and-go bakery and market with online ordering, it focuses on pastries, coffee, and meat-free prepared items plus select pantry goods. Read more.
  • Kimmies Bar and Grill — 205 W Academy St, Randleman, NC 27317. Sean and Kim Walker are opening a family-friendly spot with table service and extended hours, featuring a straightforward bar-and-grill menu (details to be announced). Read more.
  • Bubbakoo’s Burritos (Durham) — 8202 Renaissance Pkwy #103, Durham, NC 27713. The brand’s first NC unit debuts with a build-your-own lineup of bowls, burritos, tacos, salads, nachos, and loaded fries. Also opening in Cary. Read more.
  • Jean’s “By the Sea” — 617 Hicks St, Durham, NC 27705. Kate Elia is turning a tiny stand into a casual seafood hangout with oysters at the core and seasonal small plates, fried baskets, and sandwiches plus cocktails/beer/wine. Read more.
  • Saigon on Main — 139 SE Main St, Rocky Mount, NC 27801. Nancy Nguyen’s casual Vietnamese spot soft-opens with deals so guests can sample pho, banh mi, spring rolls, and more in downtown Rocky Mount. Read more.
  • Salt & Cypress Kitchen and Cocktails — 1100A S Bay Club Dr, Manteo, NC 27954. A three-level waterfront project with casual and polished spaces will showcase local seafood and Southern-leaning American plates with rotating chef’s cuts. Read more.

  • Laziz Fry & Buy — 1200 Gathering Park Cir Suite 104, Cary, NC 27519. A halal deli + minimart hybrid led by Mohammad Raez will serve NY-style deli fare with Indian twists (think butter chicken burrito) and stock South Asian staples. Read more.
  • Jade Express — 111 Seaboard Ave Suite 122, Raleigh, NC 27604. The 10th location opens with made-to-order hibachi, orange chicken, sushi, egg rolls and more plus an end-of-night $5 special. Read more.
  • The Goat Bar — 5111 Western Blvd, Raleigh, NC 27606. Brandon and Amanda LaRoque are reviving their neighborhood bar with hundreds of bottles behind the bar and rotating food trucks—expect a drinks-forward cocktail/beer/wine program. Read more.
  • Campo Taco Co. — 1001 S Saunders St, Raleigh, NC 27603. A full-service spot from Jose Linares featuring street & modern tacos, fajitas, ceviche, quesadillas, and burritos with a full bar and 150 seats inside/out. Read more.
  • Crab Seafood House — 1939 S Horner Blvd, Sanford, NC 27330. The casual, sit-down concept focuses on low country seafood boils with house sauce and will add a bar after ABC approval. Read more.
  • Bill’s Grill (Downtown) — 112 W Chestnut St, Goldsboro, NC 27530. A major buildout brings breakfast, lunch, and dinner with a full bar and a big dining room centered on classic American plates and steaks. Read more.
  • Another Broken Egg Cafe — 2420 Herrons Nest Pl NW, Concord, NC 28027. Franchisee Daniel Morman is bringing the full-service brunch brand’s breakfast, brunch & lunch menu to Concord (date TBA). Read more.
  • Brixx Wood Fired Pizza — 9620 Christenbury Pkwy, Concord, NC 28027. A new franchise location is coming soon with wood-fired pizzas, salads, and pasta; timeline to be confirmed. Article forthcoming.
  • Fusion House — 7300 Caldwell Rd, Harrisburg, NC 28075. Roy Huang’s full-service Asian fusion spot (open daily 11–10) spans sushi, ramen, poke, bubble tea, and hibachi chicken & beef with beer and wine. Read more.

Steven Liffers and Chris Carey launch cigar lounges with craft cocktails and bourbon, retail humidors, and live jazz—think a refined setting for whiskies, wines, and cigars. Read more.
  • Bev’s Steak — 117 Cherry St Suite C, Black Mountain, NC 28711. Chef Jake & Ali Whitman’s moody, brick-walled basement steakhouse features NC Wagyu and game with a wine-forward list pairing creative small plates and à-la-carte steaks. Read more.
  • Chorizo — 1 Page Ave #139, Asheville, NC 28801. Chef Hector Diaz debuts an intimate tapas bar with a patio, pouring sherry and Spanish wines alongside southern-Spain-inspired seafood-leaning tapas. Read more.
  • Lenny’s Grill & Subs — 278 Smokey Park Hwy, Asheville, NC 28806. The West Asheville franchise opens daily with cold & grilled subs, cheesesteaks, chicken options, and salads for dine-in or takeout. Read more.
  • Coquette (relocating) — 101 S Tryon St, Charlotte, NC 28280. Jill Marcus moves her all-day French restaurant to a larger corner space adding private rooms and patio while keeping oysters, cocktails, and tasting menus in the spotlight. Read more.
