$1 Million Invested into Desi Adda Indian Eatery, Opening in Sanford

SANFORD, FL — Desi Adda Indian Eatery, a modern casual Indian eatery serving authentic flavors from across India in a relaxed atmosphere is planned for 4670 International Pkwy, Sanford, FL 32771, in a recently built multi-tenant building, Gudipati told Business Debut in a phone interview.

Gudipati said the space sits next to a Foxtail Coffee Co. location within the development. He is working with an architect on interior plans and permit applications.

What to Expect

Desi Adda Indian Eatery will operate as a counter-service, kiosk-driven restaurant with seating for guests who want to dine on-site. Guests will place orders at a kiosk and receive food at their tables. The restaurant will encourage casual dining, quick service, combining convenience and authentic traditional Indian cuisine.

Expect cuisines from South Indian, North Indian, Hyderabadi, Indo-Chinese, and Indian street food, all under one roof. They will be offering 300+ authentic Indian menu items, making Desi Adda's menu one of the most extensive Indian menus in Central Florida. 

Expect freshly prepared dosas, idlis, tiffins, and traditional breakfast favorites made throughout the day. Also, they will have signature Hyderabad-style dum biryanis, tandoori specialties, and rich regional curries.

Refreshing beverages including fresh sugarcane juice, lassis, faloodas, milkshakes, and Indian desserts.

The goal, Gudipati said, is a vibrant, authentic Indian dining experience in the Sanford and Lake Mary community.

Opening Timeline

Gudipati said he is targeting the 2026 holiday season for opening. If not then, he plans to open in January 2027.
