NORTH MIAMI BEACH, FL — Zuru Ramen is preparing to open its newest location at 14651 Biscayne Blvd, North Miami Beach, FL 33181, with a target opening set for January 2026.

Owner Jonathan Chen told Business Debut the restaurant will mark the brand’s fourth location in Florida and will continue its focus on traditional Japanese ramen served in a relaxed, full-service setting.

What to Expect

Zuru Ramen is a Japanese noodle bar specializing in ramen, with table service designed to encourage guests to sit, relax and enjoy the experience. While ramen is commonly considered street food in Japan, Chen said the North Miami Beach restaurant will offer a cozy environment where guests can take their time with a meal. The space will be intimate, with seating for approximately 25 guests inside.

The menu will center on tonkotsu ramen, featuring a pork-based broth, along with a chicken broth option. Chen said the tonkotsu broth is made daily and cooked for 18 hours to achieve a rich, creamy flavor. “Our tonkotsu is very authentic,” he told Business Debut. In addition to ramen, the restaurant will serve a selection of Japanese street foods, including gyoza, takoyaki and onigiri.

The menu will match offerings at Zuru Ramen’s other locations, maintaining consistency across the brand. Chen, who is originally from Taiwan, said his background has influenced the concept. Taiwanese cuisine, he noted, has deep Japanese influences, and ramen has long been a staple he wanted to bring to local communities in Florida.

Fourth Florida Location

The North Miami Beach restaurant will be Zuru Ramen’s fourth location in Florida. Chen told Business Debut the menu will remain consistent with the brand’s existing locations, but the design of this restaurant will set it apart. While previous locations share a similar layout, the North Miami Beach space will feature a Ginza-inspired interior, drawing from Japanese street culture. The design will incorporate elements such as lanterns, graffiti-style artwork and visual details inspired by the streets of Japan, creating a more urban, street-style atmosphere.
