Pizza and Party Subs

Owner Alberto Abrego shared with FFBW that he is opening a new restaurant soon. It will be a pizza and sub sandwich shop. Abrego estimates about two weeks from now.

Bella Vita Tapas y Vino

The delights of the Spanish cuisine are coming to Miami soon, according to a plan review filing with the DBPR. Bella Vita Tapas y Vino is owned by Rulys Valdez Perez and Yusleiby Herrera. When this new concept will open is unknown, but we're already hungry for it.

Yard Milkshake Bar

As seen on Shark Tank, the Yark Milkshake Bar is making way into South Florida, according to co-owner Felipe Hofstatter. This location is planned to open by the end of the month, but a firm date hasn't been set yet, Hofstatter reports. There are other units throughout the country.

BROWARD COUNTY

Sushi Sake

The South Florida brand Sushi Sake will be opening a new outpost in Hollywood, according to the brand's website. This location, according to filings with the Division of Corporations, is owned by Jesus Cruz, of Hollywood Sushi Place, LLC. An exact opening date for this location is not available as of now.

Terminal 3 Fort Lauderdale Aiport

Eric Haseman, the Director of Operations for Delaware North, recently confirmed with FFBW that they are planning some big things for Terminal 3 in the Fort Lauderdale airport.

First on the docket is the Topo Chico Bar (which I breifly wrote about a couple of months ago). It seems to be a bar based on the Topo Chico brand.

Second, a new food court is coming that will feature BugerFi, Dunkin Donuts, and Pollo Tropical.

And as if these four concepts weren't enough, they will also have The Market on Las Olas, which will be powered by Amazon Just Walk Out Technology.

They are hoping to open this year, but Haseman didn't provide an exact date, citing issues with sourcing construction items. Of course, the address is: 300 Terminal Dr, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33315.

PALM BEACH COUNTY

Fiolina Boca

The prolific Fabio Trabocchi Restaurants group is opening a new concept in Boca Raton, according to David Murphy, the brand's Chief Operating Officer. Murphy shared that they are targeting a Q4 opening this year.

Expect hand made pastas, a craft bar, and a walk-through pasta room, according to their website.

Playa Bowls

Two new locations from the Playa Bowls brand are making way in the area. A new Stuart location is now open as of 5/20.

A spokesperson for the brand confirmed that another unit will be coming to Jupiter, with an opening estimation set on July. Check the specific locations below. Also, go to brand's website to find out more about their ethos.

MARTIN COUNTY

Paradice Shaved Ice Company

A new frozen treat business is coming into South Florida soon, according to a plan review filing with the DBPR. Paradice Shaved Ice Company is owned by Matthew Pohl and Christopher Steele of Soul Bros LLC. When this location is set it open is unknown.

Palm City Social

Rick Wilson of the restaurant The Gafford will be opening the Palm City Social this summer. Wilson reported to FFBW that he intended to open in May, but they recently pushed the date back to June.

Expect to enjoy American food in a family orientated vibe, a full bar, and a casual/upscale atmosphere.

PINELLAS COUNTY

Sugar Baby

Soon a new coffee shop, bakery, and breakfast spot will open in Seminole, according to owner Yauhen Yurhelevich. Yurhelevich expects to open Sugar Baby in a month and a half or so. It will be an intimate place with only a 30 person capacity.

HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY

Sandrita's

The Tampa area will soon welcome a new concept to town, according to owner and president of Ambreh Foods LLC, Diego Gomez. Sandrita's is prepping for their goal to open in about two weeks. Gomez reported to FFBW that they don't have a hard and fast date to announce yet. Other details about the business aren't available as of now.

Gio's Fine Wine & Champagne

Owner Gio Bunjaku is bring Tampa a new lounge concept later this month. Bunjaku talk FFBW that he is planning to open up on May 19th, and that they are putting the finishing touches together to prepare now. Expect to have fine wines paired with cheeses and other charcuterie board offerings. Check out the website here.

Crissy’s Wangz N Thangz

A new restaurant is coming to Winter Haven soon, according to a filing with the DBPR. Crissy’s Wangz N Thangz is owned by Crystal Haynes, and an opening date is not available as of now.

Del Rey Latin Food

A new latin food joint is coming up in Land O’ Lake soon, according to co-owner Santos Tovar. Del Rey Latin Food doesn’t have a public opening date to announce yet.

Moe's Southwestern Grill

A new outfit of the Moe's brand is coming to Wesley Chapel, according to franchisee Rakhi Patel. Currently, Patel is waiting on the building to be constructed, and then he will begin moving his business into it. He doesn't have an opening date to share.

Tomatoes

A new concept is opening in Orlando soon, according to owner Abdelaziz Yassin. Tomatoes is about to commence construction on its space and is planned to open in June, Yassin reported to FFBW. They will serve a healthy Mediterranean diet.

Roaster by Jefe

A new concept is inbound to Lake Mary soon, according to a filing with the DBPR. Roaster by Jefe is owned by Scott Mason, of Jefe Cigar Lounge LLC. This leads us to believe that this will be a smoking lounge. When the business will open is unknown.

Pixie's Magical Corner

Owner Jahaira Ortolaza confirmed with FFBW this afternoon that Pixie's Magical Corner is coming to Longwood soon. The concept will be a French patisserie with Spanish influence, serving speciality coffees, like cold brew, and some food options. Ortolaza said that they are planning to open sometime in June.

Geneva Ice Cream Company

A new dessert shop is setting up in Geneva, according to a plan review filing with the DBPR. Geneva Ice Cream Company is owned by Dylan and Justin Lennon and Justin Chaudion, according to the Division of Corporations. When they will open is unknown.

LAKE COUNTY

Johnson's Village Marketplace

A new grocery store, retail space, outdoor food truck and bar concept is coming to Clermont soon, according to co-owner Darren Johnson. Johnson's Village Marketplace will be a 7,000 square foot grocery and retail store. Just outside in the plaza, shoppers can enjoy Airstream food trailers, a bar, and even an automated dog wash station.

Johnson described it as a family and pedestrian friendly market place where you can buy groceries, eat, and enjoy a drink. They plan to open on July 1st. Check out their webpage.
