Yan Karaoke Bringing Massive Entertainment Venue to Atlanta
Guests can enjoy shareable Asian-inspired dishes alongside karaoke, handcrafted cocktails, and a late-night atmosphere.
ATLANTA, GA — Yan Karaoke is preparing to open at 777 Memorial Dr SE, Atlanta, GA 30316, bringing what will be the largest karaoke restaurant in North America to the heart of Atlanta’s Memorial Drive corridor.
Director of Operations Theodore Williams told Business Debut the project, led by owner Alex Yan, is targeting a late spring 2026 debut and will offer a new level of entertainment, dining, and hospitality.
What to Expect
The two-story venue will span more than 15,000 square feet and accommodate over 500 guests, featuring more than 30 private karaoke suites, a full-service restaurant, and multiple cocktail bars. The concept combines dining and entertainment in a luxury environment designed to feel both social and refined.
“This is not your typical karaoke bar,” Williams told Business Debut. “We’re creating an elevated experience that blends music, food, and nightlife. Guests can come for dinner, stay for karaoke, or simply enjoy the atmosphere. It’s all part of the same immersive experience.”
Each private suite will include premium sound systems, touchscreen song selection, LED lighting, and in-room food and beverage service. The main floor will also feature an open karaoke stage for public performances, a large cocktail bar, and a lounge area designed for casual gatherings.
Menu and Vision
Yan Karaoke’s culinary program will focus on shareable dishes with a mix of Asian and American influences. The menu will include small plates, noodles, skewers, sushi, and bar snacks made for group dining. The beverage program will feature handcrafted cocktails, sake, and a curated list of wines and spirits inspired by Asian nightlife culture.
“The food and drinks are meant to match the energy of the space,” Williams said. “You can have an amazing dinner with friends, then head straight into karaoke without missing a beat.”
Bringing the Concept to Life
To refine the concept, Yan and Williams are traveling to China next week to study the country’s top karaoke venues and complete development of a custom-built karaoke system created specifically for the American market. Williams said the system will feature cutting-edge technology designed exclusively for Yan Karaoke, offering an experience no other venue in the U.S. can match.
While in China, the team will also explore how leading venues integrate design, technology, and service into a single, seamless environment. Inspired by those concepts, the Atlanta location will feature immersive lighting, premium sound, and uniquely styled rooms that range from sleek and intimate to vibrant and energetic, each designed to create a personalized experience for every guest.
Operations and Leadership
Yan Karaoke is owned by Alex Yan, whose vision is to introduce a large-scale, modern karaoke and dining experience that rivals international venues. Working alongside him are Director of Operations Theodore 'Teddy" Williams and business partner Kevin Chen, who oversees key aspects of development and execution.
“Alex wanted to do something that truly stands out,” Williams said. “This will be the largest karaoke restaurant in North America, and our focus is on quality at every level, from sound and lighting to service and food.”
Technology and Systems
The operation will be powered by a customized version of ZBS POS, built specifically for Yan Karaoke’s large-scale format and service model. Williams said the tailored system connects every part of the business in real time, giving staff the ability to manage reservations, orders, and payments seamlessly across multiple floors. It also supports mobile booking, preordered food and drink packages, and digital checkouts, all designed to create a smooth, high-end guest experience.
Design and Experience
Located in the redeveloping Memorial Drive corridor, the 15,000-square-foot venue will include a grand entry, open bar, and lounge on the main level, with private suites and VIP rooms on the second floor. Suite sizes will range from small rooms for two to large event spaces accommodating up to 40 guests.
“The scale is what makes this special,” Williams said. “We’re building a place where you can host anything from an intimate night out to a company event. It’s going to be a true entertainment destination for Atlanta.”
