PORT ST. JOE, FL - Ralphie’s Fish Camp is targeting an August 2026 opening at 470 Marina Drive, Port St. Joe, FL 32456, bringing a new family-friendly seafood restaurant directly to the city marina.

Owner Grant Rish, a sixth-generation Port St. Joe native, told Business Debut the concept is designed to feel approachable for guests arriving by boat or from the beach.

“Our goal is to have a family-friendly restaurant right on the water that you can feel at home right when you get off the beach or off the boat,” Rish told Business Debut. “Come in with your sandy toes and a cover up and not have to worry about going back home to get ready.”

What to Expect

Ralphie’s Fish Camp will seat just over 150 guests, offering indoor air-conditioned dining, bar seating, a separate oyster bar and a back deck with a stage for live music. A full-service bar overlooking the marina will feature two glass roll-up garage doors and eight televisions.

The space will include a fresh seafood display showcasing whole fish and fillets, with fresh seafood available for purchase. Guests will also have access to a to-go window for quick marina pickups.

The restaurant will introduce a “Your Catch, Our Table” program, allowing anglers to bring in their own freshly caught fish to be prepared on site. “If you go out and catch a snapper and don’t feel like cooking it, you bring it to us and we’ll cook it for you,” Rish told Business Debut.

The menu will focus on fresh, wild-caught seafood sourced through partner Matt Willingham, owner of Willingham Seafood. Daily deliveries are expected from Willingham’s shrimp boats and seafood operations.

Menu items will include fried po’ boys, whole fried flounder, fried grouper, shrimp baskets, fish tacos, shrimp tacos and oysters. Non-seafood options will include hand-patted burgers, hand-cut steaks and hand-battered chicken fingers.

“It’ll be very clean but a dive-type feeling like a fish camp,” Rish told Business Debut.

Ed’s Red Hot Sauce will be on every table and available for purchase. The locally known brand ships nationwide.

Rish also owns Uptown Bar, which opened in 2019, alongside partner Christian Johnson, who oversees operations. Johnson will lead day-to-day operations at Ralphie’s Fish Camp. Willingham joins the project as a partner, bringing his experience as a commercial fisherman and seafood supplier.
