ST. PETERSBURG, FL — Say Coffee House, a Vietnamese specialty coffee shop, is targeting a March or April 2026 opening at 2414 Central Ave, St. Petersburg, FL 33712, owner Haley Huynh told Business Debut. Huynh is opening the concept with business partner Huy Ho.

What to Expect

Say Coffee House is designed as a fast-casual coffee bar with indoor seating and an outdoor area. Whether guests are working, meeting friends or, as Huynh put it, “just chill spot to have a cup of coffee.”

Inside, the team is planning an industrial-style interior. Outside, Huynh said the patio is intended to capture “the authentic vibe of Vietnam” with a “Vietnam street coffee” setting.

The shop is expected to seat about 20 to 24 guests inside and about 15 outside.

Huynh said Say Coffee House will focus on “modernized traditional Vietnamese coffee,” including Vietnamese-style drinks topped with cold foams such as egg coffee, ube coffee and sea salt coffee. “Sea salt coffee … is really popular in Vietnam,” Huynh said, adding that it’s “really trendy” and “really easy to drink.”

In addition to its Vietnamese coffee lineup, the shop plans to serve ceremonial matcha, along with refreshers and tea-based drinks with what Huynh described as “a little twist,” including options like lychee green tea and jasmine milk tea latte.

Huynh said the team plans to import key ingredients directly from Asia, including coffee from Vietnam, matcha from Japan and teas sourced in Asia. “We import our ingredients straight from Asia,” Huynh told Business Debut.

On the food side, Huynh said guests can expect basic pastries such as croissants and bagels, plus a signature item the team is developing: croffles, a croissant-waffle hybrid served with different flavors and toppings. The team is still testing recipes, but Huynh said they plan to make them in-house once finalized.
