MULTIPLE COUNTIES
Wingstop
The national brand Wingstop is spreading throughout Central Florida, according to co-franchisee Charles Soderstrom. Currently, he has a location in the works for Kissimmee at: 2360 Vineland Rd, Kissimmee, FL 34746. This unit is in the process of obtaining permits, and Soderstrom estimates 3-4 months before it opens.
He will also be opening a second location is Sanford. Then, he will have two units open in Davenport. Following that, there will be a location in Lake Nona, but the lease for that location isn't finalized yet. However, Soderstrom expects to finalize soon. Additionally, Soderstrom will open a unit in St. Lucie, but a timeline isn't available yet. This will bring a total of 6 locations throughout South and Central Florida.
The Wingstop brand is well-known for serving delicious wings and fries.
BROWARD COUNTY
Lucky Fish Beach Bar & Grill
An official from LM Restaurants told FFBW that they are amid the permitting phase of bringing a new concept to the area. Lucky Fish Beach Bar & Grill is planning to open at: 65 N Beach Rd, Dania Beach, FL 33004, right next to the water.
Given the permitting stage of development, the restaurant group doesn't expect to open until 2024. Check the LM Restaurants website here to see their sprawling portfolio of brands. The official said that they have more planned for Florida, but they are not ready to share details.
PALM BEACH COUNTY
How Ya Dough'n
Local pizza brand How Ya Dough'n is set to expand with two additional locations over the next year, co-owner Gabrielle Goodman told FFBW. The first of the two locations will come to Boynton Beach, Goodman said, and they are planning for a fall opening – sometime in September or October.
The next will be in Boca Raton. This unit is very early on in development, and their aim is to open in spring or summer of 2024.

Wild Rose Wine and Daiquiri Bar
A new bar and small bites concept is inbound, co-owner Kimberly Weston told FFBW. Wile Rose Wine & Daiquiri Bar will serve a range of cocktails and other beverages, along with small bites prepared in a ventless kitchen.
Weston said that they are amidst construction now and plan to open in September; however, that is a tentative timeline.

ORANGE COUNTY
Chestnut Bakery
An export from the United Kingdom, Chestnut Bakery, is preparing to open its doors here in the greater Orlando area, according to Mohamed Moamen, CEO of Chestnut Bakery Windermere LLC. The brand has two locations in London, and one more on the way to New York City. By the time the Windermere unit opens, Moamen said that it will be the fourth total.
The estimated opening date is between Q3 and Q4 of this year. The address on the business formation filing indicates that it will open on the corner of Main St and 6th Avenue, Windermere FL 34768.
Family Restaurant 2 FL, LLC
A new restaurant is inbound, according to co-owner Darren Augustin. The concept will be called Family Restaurant, and Augustin and his team are very early on in the planning phase of development.
Augustin said that they hope to open in a matter of months. The address for the business is: 4083 W Oak Ridge Rd, Orlando, FL 32809.
Mares Real Peruvian Cuisine
A well-known stable of Peruvian food is planning a three unit expansion throughout Central Florida, co-owner Arturo Gamio told FFBW. Mares Real Peruvian Cuisine's flagship location is in Hunter's Creek, and a new unit is planned for Winter Park. Gamio estimates that this location will open later this month or in August.
Two more Mares restaurants are in the works, Gamio said, with an estimated opening date of later this year or early 2024. An address is not available for these locations.

Fazolis
A local restaurant brand is continuing to expand in the area, co-owner Rodney Keys told FFBW. The fast-casual Fazolis specializes in serving quality Italian cuisine. Keys said that they are hoping to open in late August or early September. Fazolis was founded by Key's Restaurants, Inc.
Keys also mentioned that they are looking to continue expanding, and that they are searching for locations. This unit will open at: 4201 E Colonial Dr, Orlando, FL 32803.

POLK COUNTY
Biggby Coffee
A new location of the chain Biggby Coffee is coming to Mulberry soon, according to co-franchisee Daniel Perkins. They've had some difficulty nailing down their location, Perkins told FFBW. Perkins doesn't have a hard and fast date, but he's aiming for 6-12 months.
The address provided on a recent plan review filing indicates that they will open at: 1207 E Canal St, Mulberry, FL 33860.
PASCO COUNTY
Magnifico Cakes
A new bakery is in the works in Zephyrhills, owner Raul Ocasio told FFBW. He is planning to open his bakery at home first and then expand into a brick and mortar location within a year or less.
The details for Magnifico Cakes are slim, since the business was just formed.
HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY
Happy Lemon
Tampa will soon welcome a new tea and dessert shop by way of franchisees Anna and Sterling Strickland. Anna Strickland reported to FFBW that they are aiming for a September opening.
The Happy Lemon brand has recently expanded into Florida, and this will be the first location in the Tampa area. Find them at: 11642 N Dale Mabry Hwy, Tampa, FL 33618
Vampire Penguin
The known shaved snow and ice dessert brand Vampire Penguin is coming to Brandon, co-owner Kelly Decelles told FFBW. The brand has locations in the surrounding counties, and this will be the first in Hillsborough.
Decelles said that they just completed the demo of their building and are moving forward with their plans now. She is hoping for a fall opening. Once this one is up and running, she is also interested in expanding.
