ORLANDO, FL - Unplugged Social Cafe, a new concept from Brooke Guevara and Juan Guevara, is now in soft opening at 8267 International Drive, Suite 200, Orlando, FL 32819. The cafe is currently open Monday through Saturday from 8 a.m. - 4 p.m., with the lounge portion launching March 19th at 7 p.m., Brooke Guevara told Business Debut.

The concept blends a daytime cafe with an evening lounge experience, centered on conversation, hospitality, and community. “We’re looking for a space that people can come and enjoy good conversation, good food and feel taken care of,” Guevara told Business Debut.

What to Expect

The cafe operates as a counter-service concept with open seating, designed to accommodate both social gatherings and quiet work sessions. Guests can order at the counter or via QR code and choose from a variety of seating, including tables, high-tops, a lounge-style “living room,” and a patio.

The space seats approximately 150 guests inside, with additional patio seating bringing total capacity closer to 175. Guevara described the environment as refined yet comfortable, with white tablecloths paired with a relaxed, come-as-you-are atmosphere.

In the evenings, Thursday through Saturday, the concept shifts to a lounge format featuring live music, wine, beer, charcuterie boards, and small plates in a quieter setting. “We wanted to have a place where people can still kind of have more of a relaxed, classy environment… and actually hear each other,” she told Business Debut.

The daytime menu focuses on coffee, pastries, sandwiches, and salads, with an emphasis on quality and freshness. Popular items include an all-day breakfast sandwich served on fresh-baked French-imported croissants, a citrus grove salad with blood orange vinaigrette, and a Caprese chicken panini.

The beverage program includes organic coffee, espresso drinks, teas, and signature offerings like “sunshine sodas” and specialty lattes such as an Orange Grove latte and Key Lime Pie latte. “Something that we’re seeing a lot of people are happy about is that we’re serving organic coffee,” Guevara said.

At night, the menu transitions to items like charcuterie boards, bruschetta, whipped feta, flatbreads, and desserts including chocolate lava cake and key lime pie.

The concept is rooted in hospitality and connection. “We want people to feel like they can really just be themselves… and be taken care of,” Guevara told Business Debut.
