Uncle Bob’s Frozen Desserts Coming to Pine Castle This Winter

A new custom ice cream creations and classic sweet treats shop, Uncle Bob’s Frozen Desserts, will be coming to Pine Castle this December. The shop will be located at 7726 Wyngard Road, Unit 105, Pine Castle, FL, and owner Bob Costello aims for a December opening, he told Business Debut.

The shop will specialize in small-batch, customizable ice cream made to order, with options available in as little as two hours. Customers can create unique flavors and pick up pints, quarts, or even gallons. They will also offer scoops, sundaes, floats, milkshakes, parfaits, novelties, ice cream cakes, and seasonal flavors like eggnog and coquito. A non-dairy frozen dessert line will also be added to the list.

Expect desserts and ice cream to be available by the scoop and in a freezer section for quick grab and go transactions.

After more than 40 years of working for Disney and a background in the ice cream business in New Hampshire, Costello will be launching his first independent dessert shop.

His experiences showed him he could do more and offer people something special. “There are flavors that I had as a kid that I would like to see back. The only way I'm gonna do that is if I do it myself. So I would like to be that person for you. Let me help, let my organization help design that ice cream flavor for you,” Costello said.
