SOUTH FLORIDA — Twin Brothers Daiquiris is bringing its Bahamas-based daiquiri truck to South Florida, with service set to begin June 1st across Broward, Miami-Dade and Palm Beach counties. The mobile daiquiri truck is owned by Eric S. George and his niece Denise Sanders, who is a co-owner, event coordinator and owner-operator of the truck, George told Business Debut.

What to Expect

Twin Brothers Daiquiris will serve three frozen daiquiri options: strawberry, piña colada and Miami Vice, which combines the two flavors, George told Business Debut.

The truck will be available for private events, city events, school events and festivals throughout South Florida. George said the truck is already booked for Juneteenth in Hallandale, an event in Hollywood, the City of Miramar’s island festival and three elementary school end-of-year events.

George said he first discovered Twin Brothers Daiquiris while visiting the Fish Fry area in Nassau, Bahamas. After trying the daiquiri at Twin Brothers, he said it was “the best daiquiri I ever had in my life,” George told Business Debut.

George said he spent years trying to connect with the owner before eventually securing the recipe rights for the state of Florida. He said the original Bahamas brand was started by two brothers and became known to cruise ship visitors traveling to Nassau.

George said he is bringing the concept to South Florida because of the product’s history, its connection to the Bahamas and the response it has received from travelers.

Ownership and Community

George also owns Eric S. George Funeral Home, Eric S. George Events and works in real estate. He also operates the Eric George Foundation, which supports community programs including senior cell phone and computer classes, food distribution, paperwork assistance, resource access and annual scholarships, George told Business Debut.

“We’re always here to give back to the community, because if it wasn’t for the community, we wouldn’t be who we are,” George told Business Debut.

Opening Timeline

Twin Brothers Daiquiris is targeting a June 1st launch.

Hours

The truck will operate based on event bookings. George said the truck can serve events from morning through night and can stay through late-night festivals when needed.
