Truman's Smokehouse and Grill Goes Brick and Mortar in Fuquay-Varina
Local food truck now has a permanent home with an expanded menu.

After four years of operating as a food truck in the Fuquay-Varina area, Truman’s Smokehouse and Grill has transitioned into a brick-and-mortar location. Owner Truman White told Business Debut that the business is now open at 135 S Main St, Fuquay-Varina, NC 27526, taking over the space formerly occupied by Brus On Main.
Grand Opening on October 21st
Currently in soft opening mode, the team is planning an official ribbon-cutting ceremony on October 21st. Known for their smoked offerings like brisket and pulled pork, the restaurant will continue to serve these barbecue staples while also carrying over the breakfast and lunch service previously offered at Brus. Plans are in place to expand into dinner service soon.

Menu in the brick and mortar
Menu highlights include unique creations like pulled pork mac and cheese spring rolls, along with occasional specials such as brisket ramen and brisket quesadillas. The full bar features options like mimosas, coffee flights, and a banana pudding martini. Joining White in the business are his wife Jan Truman and partners Michele and William Gross.
