The Wine Bar Bringing International Wines to Peachtree City
This family-run concept will feature curated wines, small plates, charcuterie, and tasting experiences.
PEACHTREE CITY, GA — The Wine Bar, a new concept from family team Michael and Stacy Surapine and Bailey Surapine-Meen, is targeting a grand opening on April 29th at 312 Willowbend Rd, Peachtree City, GA 30269.
The team began construction in December and is now completing final interior details ahead of opening.
We saw the news first from The City Menus.
What to Expect
The Wine Bar is designed as a boutique, upscale space centered around a global wine experience. Guests can expect a mix of seating styles, including tables, private booth-style nooks, couches, and a dedicated tasting room enclosed in glass for private events and wine tastings.
The layout is intentionally varied, offering both social and more intimate settings throughout the space. A central seating area anchors the room, while smaller sections provide privacy for conversations and gatherings.
The interior design is led by Stacy Surapine, Michael’s wife and Bailey’s mother, who has drawn inspiration from international travel to create a warm, refined atmosphere with detailed finishes and layered design elements.

Wine and Food Program
The Wine Bar will feature approximately 178 wines sourced from around the world, with a focus on organic and sustainably produced selections. Guests will be able to explore wines through both guided service and self-serve dispensers offering 2 oz, 5 oz, and 9 oz pours.
“What I want to offer you is a passport to the world… and open your eyes to grapes and varietals you've never even heard of,” Surapine told Business Debut.
The food program will include charcuterie boards, Mediterranean-style offerings, and small plates such as arancini, olives, and olive oil service with locally baked bread. Additional offerings include local honey tastings.
The beverage program will also include a cocktail menu, champagne and sparkling wine selections, and four beers on tap.
Sunday Brunch
The Wine Bar will offer a Sunday brunch experience. The menu will feature quiches, beef Wellington bites, and lighter options designed for grazing.
A centerpiece of the brunch program is a build-your-own Bloody Mary experience. Guests will receive individual setups at the table, including vodka, Bloody Mary mix, and garnishes like celery and bacon, allowing them to fully customize their drinks.
The team also plans to offer mimosas made with carefully selected French sparkling wine.
Ownership and Vision
Michael Surapine, an airline captain of 29 years who became a sommelier in 2025, developed the concept alongside his daughter Bailey Surapine-Meen, who transitioned from a career in corporate law.
Surapine’s decades as an airline captain have taken him around the world, including destinations such as South Africa and Croatia, where he has spent time visiting vineyards and sampling regional wines.
Those travels have allowed him to build relationships with producers and identify unique varietals, many of which are now being sourced and imported specifically for The Wine Bar, Surapine reported.

Construction is in its final stages, with detailed interior work and installations underway. The team is targeting a grand opening on April 29th.
