The Westwood Bar and Grill Coming to Westview This Fall

A new neighborhood bar and restaurant is getting ready to debut in Atlanta’s Westview neighborhood. Co-owner Angelina Coluccio told Business Debut that The Westwood is on track to open by September 1st at 1529 Ralph David Abernathy Blvd, Atlanta, GA 30310. Coluccio and her wife Tina Coluccio co-own Elmyr in Little Five Points, and are joined by industry veterans Luis Ponce, Katherine Paist, Ashlee Jones, and Rory Kennedy from 97 Estoria in East Atlanta. The team has combined three units into a single space with seating for around 100 guests, both indoors and out. “We had to do a full build out, and we’re getting to the end. It’s starting to look like a restaurant inside. It’s going to be awesome,” Coluccio said. “The neighborhood doesn’t have much to go to, and it has so many people that are ready to go out. We just want to have a community, a neighborhood bar and grill.”

Guests will find a long bar, booth and table seating, a game room with a pool table and dart board, and a patio for outdoor dining.

The drink menu will range from carefully crafted cocktails to beer and wine. “Rory is our cocktail guy. He is coming up with an awesome cocktail menu,” Coluccio said. “We want you also to be able to come in and get a PBR and a shot… It's somewhere where you can come have a martini and then have a PBR after.”

The food menu will focus on bar fare, including burgers, wings, and sandwiches, alongside comfort food favorites like meatloaf and pot roast with mashed potatoes. “We came at the right time and at the right place, and we’re going to be the first of many. It’s going to be a cool neighborhood,” Coluccio said.
